David has represented my company for more than 15 years. We can always count on him to be there with a cool head and excellent legal advice. He has helped us with everything from updating or creating our contracts, collecting old debt, partnership agreements, contract disputes or sometimes just a well-worded letter to help move a stick in the mud. One thing I can say about Mr. Hotes, he is always on your side the way it is needed. If we ask for fire and brimstone he will be there, if we need him to help nudge a friend, he will be there. If we need a contract to say what needs to be said but with a delicate touch, he is your attorney. I sleep well at night for two reasons, I have excellent insurance and Dave Hotes.

It could have been a timing issue, but it took 10 days and three attempts to finally connect. The day before we were to finally speak, I retained someone else who I was spoke with and had a connection. He did offer a hour consultation pro-bono, which was a nice touch, but I had retained someone already.

I needed assistance with navigating the purchase of a business I was helping to build. The case had a lot of unusual circumstances, and David expertly structured the deal so that we got what we wanted. He also helped to advise on the right things to say or not say as we closed the deal. In the end the deal took a long time, but we stayed the course and having his knowledge on my side was a huge advantage.

Initially David helped me create a template for my standard contracts. He also assisted in drafting and redlining a joint venture proposal. While working together he takes a genuine interest in how things turn out. He is very responsive and met all deadlines. When other legal matters came up he was able to pull in other counsel to work with us.
