Very unprofessional This is based on my experience on a landlord tenant issue. The attorney seemed to be engaged at the beginning of the case, but frequently came to court late, did not provide documents to the opposing party in a timely manner, never really took action time to understand the case and frequently made insinuations that this was taking up too much of his time for what I paid for. My perception was since I did not pay him enough the service he provided was all I was getting. He did towards the end get one of his assistants to sort out all of the information, but he failed to present it in a logical way. The judge was even fed up with him coming to court late and told me. When he walked in she was going to address it. All of these things resulted in me having to pay him and the loss of a court case. Please do your research thoroughly before choosing an attorney because if I would have read the reviews good and bad this absolutely would not have been an attorney I selected. Do your research before hiring. There are good attorneys out there but it takes time to find them.

He didn't care to fight for me. He honestly was more concerned about me putting a review after the first court date than he was about fighting for my son and I. Low income program is a joke. God forbid you lose your job, get assaulted in a housing program become homeless and still try to pay to fight for your kid and it becomes difficult and impossible at this point. He's not there to care. He doesn't check in at all. I have a probono lawyer in Washington dc fighting for my child and has won the case and proved that I'm very fit. But during the court process this free lawyer cares about my health, mental health and actually has had me feeling hopeful even when i felt the worst. Mr Elira just barely did the bare minimum. His attitude when he approached me was never warm, or welcoming. Its like i agitated him. Maybe it was due to my lack of court knowledge idk fr. But he was dismissive toward my emotional roller coaster was nasty. Non consoling and talked to me as if I was a child. The people who supported me could see his character. I have not had a check in from him and now I'm being harassed. The women that work for him are warm and welcoming and patient. Since he hasn't reached out in months other than asking where the money is, I went to legal shield. I regret all that I said. Because I just said anything because I was pushed to write a positive review when I first hired him. But it's not really what happened.

I paid for a consultation 250 dollars for an hr and a half and go only got 27 mins of advice that didn’t make sense the guy I spoke to wanted me to pay 1500 to send a letter that the court was already doing which I told him I did already and when he emailed me the invoice I asked why would I pay that much for something the court is doing already his response was I missed that part I really thought I would get the help I need especially after paying 250 and wouldn’t even get an full hour Or actual advice as if 250 was cheap to pay just for 27 mins I think if you gonna charge someone that much at least give them the attention and the best advice there is to give and don’t short them if we agreed to 1.5 give me what my money paid for not just say anything and then charge them more
