I cannot speak to the firm's skills or ability, but I will say I find it exceedingly unprofessional to apparently refuse to call me despite the fact that I left 4 messages. Also they agreed to review audio documentation for me but they never called me back and now appear to be ignoring my messages.

Mr. Fox took all the stress off of what would be a problematic divorce. My now Ex just broke contact possibly thinking I wouldn't be able to get it done. Mr. Fox saved me possibly years of headaches. CHEERS!!!!!

Victor Berger is a world-class attorney with exceptional litigation and negotiation skills. Victor works with clients towards the view of avoiding court if humanly possible but diligently prepares for a winning strategy if court is unavoidable. Not only is Victor a people person and very relatable, his work ethic is impeccable. Victor promptly returns all calls and emails, returned several calls on weekends and even a Sunday, called me before traveling out of the country to update me on my legal matter, and completed every task he told me would do. If Victor agrees to take your case, hire him on the spot. I was thrilled with the outcome of my very difficult legal matter. I give Victor 150% credit for my positive outcome. I hired Jac Knust to represent me in a divorce and a domestic violence case. He advertised that his office is in Columbia, but I think that is only to have it look good. All of my meetings were in a dilapidated room attached to his old house. There was a cat there at least three times trying to jump on my lap and interrupting us. When I mailed a check to his Columbia office, they didn’t even know that it was there. They said they don’t get mail at that address. In the middle of my case, Jac decided to take the entire month of February off and go do Florida. He said he had seasonal disorder. In court, when I was on the stand and being cross examined, the lawyer confused me and I gave an incorrect answer. Jac just sat there. Afterwards, I asked him why he did not object. He said something like “I heard you say something, but you mumbled”. Wrong. It was through the court microphone. The judge heard me, the other lawyer heard me. Also, Jac tells the judge that he is hard of hearing and asks everyone to speak up. In my opinion my lawyer’s hard of hearing caused an issue in my case. When I finally decided to drop him and get a better lawyer, he stopped returning my emails. He owed me close to $3,000 and, so far, two business days later, has not returned my calls or emails. Another example: I’m going through a divorce. I made a spreadsheet with all household items and their estimated values. I told Jac about it and he said it would be useful. When I showed it to my new, current lawyer, she said “No, that’s not good at all. You will need a professional property appraiser to document all of the household items.” She new the law. She was very quick with the correct answer. Jac….he just seemed to not know.

Matthew was handling my moms case. My stepdad passed away and his sister removed my mom as beneficiary. I dropped the case after my my passed away, but I had no doubt that we were going to win. Based on his approach and knowledge of the laws protecting elderly citizens. He already stopped payout from one of the insurance companies involved. We were probably moving towards a settlement also.
