Great customer service! They were very helpful in the preparation of my husband and my wills. We worked with Ms. Blackson who answered all of our questions in layman's terms. I would recommend this lawyer group to anyone seeking family law legal assistance.

John Downs represented me for a DUI. He was very knowledgable of the judicial system and genuine in his approach as far as my case was concerned. A great experience with the staff at Downs, Beste, and Blackson, LLC.

Mr. Downs helped me in 2008 with some debt issues I had related to real estate, cash flow and income. I was transitioning from being a wage earner to being self employed and his debt relief strategy worked better than I could have hoped. I highly recommend the attorneys at Downs, Beste & Blackmon!

This Guy.. STOP HERE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE I hired John to represent a client for a simple speeding ticket and I've never seen such unprofessional and worthless lawyer in my life, and I have have some experience how good lawyers go about business. 1. His staff seems to be spaced out, unorganized, and unknowledgeable about many aspects of the work they are helping clients with. You will likely get an intern or similar type employee after your first correspondence with the his main assistant and first phone conversation with John. 2. He will not call you back in a reasonable time frame. Not all calls are time sensitive, but the ones that are time sensitive you can not expect to speak with him in time. You will hear every excuse in the book on why he can not talk at the moment. That and I literally was told once or twice "he forgot" as an excuse. Cool deal when you are paying lots of hard earned money for him to help you in whatever situation you hire him for. 3. Adding to above, I couldn't imagine how he could mutilate a case that is more complex than a simple speeding ticket. 4. He requested to obtain a driving record in a fashion that was $30 more than what was required in court and for his records 5. He and his staff were unable to give any insight into the points on the drivers license. Even after the guilty verdict was reached, which was the maximum points that could have been given by the judge, he and his staff did not have the simple knowledge on how to verify the points that would transfer to the driving record. 6. He helped in now way prevent 5 points being added to the driving record and his behavior during and after the case was terrible and to be honest purely sounds like he just don't know what he is doing. To be fair, it was not 5 points we were looking to get dropped, it was the hope that it would be at least be reduced to 2 or 3 which I now understand is very possible from truly knowledgeable attorney. 7. After speaking with a much better attorney, I was told of the multiple mistakes John Downs made during the case in the court room. I can not remember the exact wording but he was shocked at the way John handed the case and was nice enough to clearly and simply explain in plain english what he did wrong and how he should have approached the case. He commented he would have never attempted to approach the case as John Downs did with the circumstantial evidence present and the variables in the court room including the judge and police officer factors.
