Been waiting on my disability claim for 3 years now 😔

I wouldn't give any stars if I could. Called & spoke to Alexis about getting an appointment numerous times. Was told by her someone would call back. Nope. Then got an appointment for Sept 21 @ 2pm. No call. Called Sept 22 about the appointment to be told it was today @ 2pm. No call still. Don't bother wasting your time

This firm has fallen apart since Tom has stepped back. I have a complex case. The office staff is clueless if you need assistance. Stephen does not advocate for me at all. He said he has a stiçky note on his PC to review my case. It's been sitting there for about 3 months.

Mr.Stephen Slater was my attorney for my disability case in 2012. I finally won my case in 2014. His office staff went above and beyond for me. He is an incredibly kind and patient and smart and knowledgeable Atty who I think the world of. I cannot say enough good things about him and his office staff, and how much help they were able to give me. I highly recommend his law firm. He’s an incredible person who I’m forever Grateful for.

I've been denied 3 times for disability so far, I now have an appeal. I've lived in way station, and prolouge. Both being mental health housing programs, I was homeless in between these programs and then after prolouge due to addiction issues. I am clean now thanks to my friend who is helping me have a better life. I have legitimate cognitive disabilities, I am slow, do not understand things sometimes. And experience neuro fatigue from my severe traumatic brain injury. I can physically only work part time. If it wasn't for my friend, I wouldn't have a place to lay my head, a phone to get in contact with slater and slater, and progression in my life. I would probably be dead or on the verge of death if it wasn't for him. I also struggle with severe mental health issues that came along with my severe tbi. I'm sick and tired of being denied and denied when I know, and others in the Frederick area know, I am clearly disabled. I have a friend who has disability for bipolar... I have a wrap sheet of issues including bipolar, major depressive disorder, mood swings for no reason, a severe traumatic brain injury with short term memory problems,and experience neuro fatigue. I have serious issues and it's a cold world out there, to have lazy people get disability for small issues.. and me having severe damage to my most vital organ, causing me severe problems. I deserve disability. And a part time job, so I can have purpose in life. This is nuts for me, and I really hope slater and slater can finally help me, someone who truly needs social security. Please help me, thank you

Words fail to describe the appreciation I feel towards these guys. Highly recommend talking to them if you have issues with social security at all. They're very friendly and take their work seriously. They contact SSA on your behalf and help with understanding what SSA is saying, what their letters mean, and what they want. They work with you based on your income for the amount they take too.Talk about relief. These guys remind me of everyday heroes trying to fight and do what's right. They're super power is dealing with SSA. :-)
