I recently went through a divorce and changed from a previous lawyer to Ms Deborah Sheppard of Cordell & Cordell (Frederick MD). I was extremely satisfied with Ms Shepherd. She was professional, she was personable, she was prompt with her updates, and she worked very well with the opposing counsel. We worked very well together and after closing my account I will actually miss dealing with Ms Shepherd. Kristen Lindquist was the paralegal with whom I dealt. She was also excellent, prompt, and personable.

Went through a 2 year battle just to lose everything... over 20k dollars and I still get Nickle and dimed to the very end.. 405$ an hour... for what.... to have to provide all my own documents and get forced to pay additional legal fees...Your better off to pay someone else. The firm doesn't care about you or helping you, just money and if it's in your trust they will spend every penny!! Cordell and Cordell... I will say that my Attorney tried his best and was really professional but the experience with cordell and cordell administration personnel was not pleasant.

If I could rate a 0 I would. They don’t care about your case here at Cordell and Cordell, but about your money. They will nickel and dime you your whole case. They don’t listen to the client. Will ask you the same question through email just to charge you $30-70 per email. Would not recommend using unless you have thousands and thousands of dollars you want to waste on little stuff that doesn’t really affect your case.

Whatever you do don't use Cordell and Cordell. Nickel and dime you to death. All they care about is money. . I finished with them and had a 3000.00 bill after paying them multiple thousands of dollars I wanted to make payments. I made a reasonable offer to honorably pay my bill which they would not except. I wanted to pay 150.00 a month till I get settled in my new life. They could care less and threatened me with collections. They are rude. I am calling the better business bureau to make a complaint. Chelsea is incredible at her job and I can't imagine a scenario she's unable to handle.
