My divorce was very difficult. My husband hid our assets and had planned to leave me long before he actually let on to me that he was done with the marriage. I felt lost and alone and helpless. I was referred to the Mckeon Law Firm from one of my close friends who used them for her divorce and custody case. I hired Shelly and Jessica to represent me and could not have been in better hands. They were literally life savers. They helped me at every step to see the options available to me and to advise me based on their wealth of experience. They were able to find the money my husband hid from me and negotiated a settlement that I am very pleased with and feel that even though nobody wins in a divorce, I came out of this ordeal feeling secure in my future because of the settlement. Overall, I believe that even though it was expensive, they were worth every dollar. My husband's attorneys fees were much higher than mine and I know he is unhappy with the outcome. I highly recommend the McKeon Law Firm.

After 42 years of marriage, I was presented with divorce papers. Shelly and her team made this as "comfortable" as they could to make the process easier. Each seemed genuinely concerned and supportive. Shelly was very responsive to my questions and provided much comfort to me in this difficult time.

Shelly McKeon (along with Jessica Kern) handled my divorce and the bottom line is she protected my interests and ensured I got a fair settlement. Although my ex and her attorney made the whole thing as difficult and expensive as it could be, Shelly made sure that I was well aware of what was to come, kept me informed and involved, and took every step needed to ensure that I was not steamrolled. Shelly knew the law of course, but was also familiar with the other attorneys and court personnel and explained to me what their likely actions would be (and she was spot on). I ended up much better off than I thought would be possible. I am so glad to have had Shelly on my side!

An expert attorney who provided the proper guidance and direction in my case. She always remained calm, professional and was very assertive in addressing key issues. Her advice was invaluable.

Ms. McKeon was with me every step of the way-from the time I walked into her door until the case was finalized. She provided great advice as we went through each part of the divorce. I had one of those horrible divorces you read about.....and things settled down until I moved up to MD to be closer to my kids from VA....then the ex( a family attorney herself) decieded to litigate settled issues again.......Shelly did a marvelous job and although we had to go through a two day trial....at the end of it all she got the case dismissed because the ex- did not meet the burden of proof to warrant a modification.......

Very good attorney who gave advice that really advanced my case in my divorce and custody case. She looked at my case without the emotion and gave me advice to on how I should plan and what I should be doing at each stage. I found that the opposing attorneys really respected her, and the judges always agreed with her logic. A busy firm, a little hard to get a hold of, but always got back to me within a day or so. I found they did very well at court; they hold their own and command that courtroom. A little pricy, but overall much less expensive than my previous attorney who just seemed to spin his wheels, without getting anything done. Dr. B

For less than a year I was represented by Ms. McKeon and her firm. They did a below average and an extremely mediocre job. Several simple and primary issues were not looked at - I always had a feeling that there was something amiss. Ms. McKeon does not look at details and was forever keeping up to date on my case. Her other associates would be the one that talked to me and then I would get an answer after they discussed it with her.
