She is eloquent and comes across well to judges and jurors alike. She was well respected by colleagues and opponents and treats everyone as a human being, whether they were on her side or the opposing side. She is such an exceptional trial attorney that she taught trial advocacy to law students and many young upcoming attorneys. Don't confuse her kind nature with a lack of fight, she was always incredibly skilled at evaluating the value of a case and would not hesitate to tell an opposing party that if they didn't like her position they could take the risk of trying a case against her (not many wanted to take that chance and those that did often came out on the losing side).
