Mitchell Greenberg took my fee (2500)and did not provide a service. I am currently out of work due to his lack of knowledge about my case and my scope of work. I am now sitting home with no job because of his poor advisement. He never came to me and told me what I was going to be charged with after he advised me to take the agreement. I would never agreed on that agreement if he would have advised me correctly. He just wanted to make a quick $2500 and not care that his client's career could be over. I have since retained another lawyer who is filing an appeal on my behalf, who is fighting to help me save my career. Mr. Greenberg told me it was nothing he could do. I would not obtain him to represent my dog! Please be aware of this FRAUD! Chris Tyler Mr. Greenberg, you are so untruthful. The only thing that you have been honest about is me hiring you last minute. You knew I had just been served the day before the court hearing and you told me that you had 30 plus years in handling these cases and you agreed to represent me on these accusations. If you knew that you couldn't help me then you should have told me that up front instead of taking my money and doing nothing in court. I gave you all of the information that you asked for, so for you to say that the amount of relevant information that I provided you was less than complete but you still took the case says a lot about your Ethics and Integrity. You were only in it for the money because according to you, I didn't give you enough relevant information but you still agreed to represent me. You only had a text message from the individual saying how I felt about her as a person. NOTHING THREATENING OR ANY TYPE OF HARASSMENT, just derogatory according to the conversation that you and I had. Your direct statement to me was I thought this was going to be a one and done case. What other witnesses? If you are referring to her daughter, I'm sure it was the same message that I sent her mom because her mom sent it to her. You only asked me if I had a problem with staying away from the individual and I said no. Then you asked if my main concern was just to see my son, and I said yes. Your response was OK, I THINK WE HAVE A DEAL. You NEVER said that I was going to be charged with Anything! You led me to believe that it was a simple agreement to stay away from her and just deal with my son. The judge didn't even read the final judgement order in court. He only asked if both parties agreed to the agreement. You dropped the ball and you need to man up to your wrong doing. Your statement as far as ethics are preventing you from saying what you really want to say shows what type of incompetent and insensitive lawyer you really are. For you to say that you regret the effect of my actions upon my employment shows your insensitivity, because in my final order it stated that there was no admission of guilt. I just agreed to not contact her and deal with my son. I have hired a new attorney who cares about his client and who will also make sure the case is heard properly instead of some rushed agreement without giving their client all of the facts and details. I am out of work because of your lower than low LACKLUSTER defense in the courtroom. It's funny how you didn't remember me telling you what I did for a living (Security Police Officer) so there's no way I would have agreed to YOUR not giving me all of the facts agreement if I would have known in its entirety what I was agreeing to but you remember Everything that she told you. I went through one of the hardest battles with my ex-husband for almost a year. My son wanted to go to a magnet school and his father didn't believe him. His dad actually changed my sons words about his opinion and used them against him. At that point my son asked me to fight for him, he just agreed with his dad because he knew I hired a lawyer. Mr. Ruben and his staff were patient, flexible, compassionate and did everything I asked them to. I asked alot, I mean ALOT, of questions and requested clarifications often. Every single person was patient and very responsive due to he ever changing status. COVID 19 put a lurch in the process and I was told that the case wouldn't be heard until 2021, which would have been too late, he would have lost his seat. We were able to get 2 Dvocacy lawyers assigned on my sons behalf and 2 weeks before school started, we won! So grateful to know this office truly cared about what was in my sons best interest and helped me get to a positive outcome.
