My SSDI case was quite a unique one.  My entire case was conducted during the COVID pandemic, entailing that I never personally met any of the lawyers or staff.  All proceedings & communications were conducted over the phone, via email or through the US mail; including 3 hearings with the ALJ judge and numerous conversations with SSA. First of all, I am a senior citizen living in a retirement community. For over 9 months I tried to get a plaintiff and its attorney to remove me from a judgement that they filed in court in error. I made them aware that I was not the person they were seeking, but they would not correct the mistake. I was recently referred to Gordon, Wolf & Carney, who took me as a client. In less than a month they were able to make them rectify the problem so that I am no longer shown as the defendant in the court case.
