My husband had two cases! We had the best lawyer highly recommend Ohri won both cases in two weeks time frame. It saved my husband and saved my family!

Ms Nivea Ohri did great by me and my family. She was available at all times, kept us informed about next steps and possibilities, and she had a lot of empathy for the situation my family was in and always informed us of all options and what was in our best interest in the long and short term. However, when my case was transferred to Mr Baldwin he showed a lack of compassion, empathy, and understanding in dealing with my hearing in a timely and respectful manner. Leaving me on a Thursday with no representation for a Monday hearing after not initiating any discovery in my defense in the time prior to this, leaving me with 1 business day to come up with my own defense in a hearing that can lose me my children. This is in complete contrast to the exceptional service I received from Ms Ohri. She was a bright star against the cold dark backdrop of Mr Baldwin and his firm. There are SEVERAL one star reviews on here that say the same about Sam Baldwin, they are definitely very true. This man is the laziest, most condescending, uneducated of bottom feeders that exist in Law Practice today, and that's saying a lot.

I had Nivea represent us on 3 cases and very knowledgeable on handling all 3 cases and 1 even being a court error. She met with us at consultation walked us thru all the cases. She kept in touch thru out the weeks before the court date and kept us informed on all details. I highly recommend Nivea on criminal cases. I truly felt represented with confidence. Thanks Nivea

Awful experience and money WASTED. I presented all documents that were needed to Sam Baldwin and he informed me it was going to be a Maryland issue he can represent for me after 60 days of not much contact the courthouse decided to contact me before my lawyer to let me know this is not a Maryland issue and to go back to VA. I had to call my own lawyer to let him know info that he had already received few days prior but I guess did not think to inform me until he was ready….He charged few thousand dollars for absolutely nothing done,told me to go Handel it with another attorney in VA very unprofessional and uneducated with laws. STAY CLEAR OF THIS LAWFIRM

Please, please, please save your money and look elsewhere for representation. My life has been forever changed for the worst because I hired this firm. I lost everything. Was falsely accused of abuse, lost my child, my retirement, my home and my reputation. My ex cheated on me and filed false charges and I just have had to suffer for the past year. I regret ever calling this firm.

Rick Steinmetz and his team took my case from intake all the way through to trial. I'm sure they had more lucrative opportunities than my case, but they spared no expense to deliver the justice I deserved.
