Helped me in a great time of need when I didn't have a clue of what to do or where to start...He guided me every step of the way and explained everything along the way that I could understand....made me feel confident about my case so much that when I won, he instilled that in me. Very reasonable and will work with you, not just brush you off and collect your money, but actually cares...he is one of the very few out lawyers present today that actually listen and care about his Clients

From the first day I met Mr. Barrett I knew I wanted him to represent me as my divorce lawyer. He took time listening to me, and presented me with all my options, explaining all of them as we went alone. The choice on what actions we should take was my decision. I was not left wondering on what he was doing, he kept me informed, allowing me to read each document, and was in agreement with each one, before he presented it to my husband lawyer. He made sure that I understood all the legal terms. He has this calming quality that inspires his clients to feel protected. I will recommend his to anyone who needs a lawyer.

Very helpful with my situation

On our initial communication, Attorney Barrett was actually on vacation and still answered his phone. He subsequently assisted me with a legal matter and his knowledge and phone manner were A-1. He is very adept in his field and you can see that he has a great deal of experience. On-top-of-that, he is very personable, easy to speak with and never came off as boring or the lecturing lawyer type. I would highly recommend his services and would specifically request working directly with him as my Counsel.

I feel so blessed to have found a lawyer with a heart rather than someone just out for the money. Divorce is never easy however the counsel that I received from Michael made my divorce simple. While I know he has several clients, he showed compassion and made me feel as if I were the only one. Michael goes beyond the call of duty when answering emails and phone calls with quick responses. Michael Barrett is an amazing attorney. I had been looking for lawyers in the Maryland area (I live in PA) to assist me with an issue I encountered during a visit and was running low on time. Mike called me back just in the nick of time. Other lawyers in the area hadn’t reached out and I was skeptical about leaving him a message on his answering service. However, he called me back and HE DELIVERED!!! He was extremely professional and relatable. With just under 3 days until our court appearance, Mike was able to assist me and get me the best outcome for my case. He was very detailed and caught on to a lot of key points to help prove my case and point. I would highly recommend him and while I don’t plan on needing a lawyer in Maryland again, I’m definitely keeping Mike Barrett in my contacts.
