Attorney Billian helped me with the drafting of my prenup. He received the first draft from my wife's attorney and then proceeded to basically rewrite the entire document. There is probably not a more sensitive legal matter than a divorce. Emotions run high and people can lose perspective, and it quickly becomes a race to the bottom. From initial consultation to last email, Alan steered me away from all of that and toward the high road, which kept the bill down and made life better for my kids throughout the process. That said, when fighting became unavoidable he was ready, neutralizing the other side with an efficiency that showed he likely understood the situation better than I did. My divorce could have been an ongoing fight that drained all of our resources, leaving nothing to build on. Instead, my ex and I both live in nice houses and have a peaceful relationship focused solely on our kids. I got the outcome I wanted because I hired Alan.
