We had such a good experience with John that I really hate to leave any negative remarks, however I do think this needs to be said in order to make sure future customers do not have this experience. Leading up to settlement we had many frustrations with our contact at the titling company. She was frequently unresponsive and would often blame hold ups on other people. When it came time for closing we were informed of our final amount due less than 24 hours before settlement and told us that we could not settle unless the funds were in their account by the time we got to the table. This would have been tough to do even before COVID hit, but with COVID shutting down many bank branches this became impossible. Throughout this process she frequently tried to blame our lender and us for the lack of information, however we have worked with this lender twice before and never had this issue. We were really grateful for the experience John provided us once we got through the door, and we hope that our experience with our point of contact at Hutton Patt was a one time thing and that others do not have a similar experience.
