I am a fellow attorney who has known Tammy Begun in a professional capacity for years. I would highly recommend her as a stellar family law lawyer. Having tried cases against her, I know personally that she has strong litigation skills. She deeply cares for her clients, and is a strong advocate for their rights.

Tammy Begun is not just a typical attorney. No matter what the case is, if you choose her to represent you, she will go above and beyond to make sure you get a fair trial. Going into my case I had no clue what the outcome would be. Tammy prepared me thoroughly and did an AMAZING job defending me in court. The questions she asked, how she handled herself, every single thing she displayed in court just showed me exactly why I chose Tammy Begun as my attorney. If anyone has a case that Tammy would be able to represent you in, I would definitely suggest choosing Tammy Begun. In my opinion, she is the best lawyer in Maryland.

Tammy Begun was very helpful with my trial. I was in a custody battle with my daughter's mother and she assured me I had a good case. She made sure to email, call, or text me with any information that I needed to get the case to go the way I wanted it to go. She got me the weekly schedule I wanted with my daughter and the holiday schedule as well. She even made sure I got some of my attorney's fees payed by the defendant when they weren't responding with any urgency. I will recommend her to anyone who is thinking about going to court for custody of their children

Attorney Begun takes her job very seriously. She pays very close attention to details, and made sure to give my case all the attention she possibly could. I really appreciated all the time she spent on my cases and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attorney.

I could not have gotten a better advocate for my legal family matter. Tammy told me the things I needed to know, needed to hear, needed to do, and most importantly, the things she could do to help me. She and her team kept me keenly informed on everything in my case. Cost may be a major factor in a divorce and if you are anything like me, you want to be on top of your tab. There were no surprises in my bill - again, I was kept well informed. Before you read my review please scroll down and look at the pictures of me with my family. As you read this, please keep in mind that without Dave Martella those pictures would never have existed. I would have been serving anywhere from 5-25 years in prison for A CRIME I DID NOT COMMIT. To clarify, there is no question I shot at a police officer, just that the police officer never identified himself and was trying to strike me with his car at the time (see picture). My charges were false, my charging documents were false, just about everything was false. I was incarcerated without bond, vilified in the media, and honestly persecuted. My case quickly turned political, and it really seemed like the entire weight of the world was crashing down on me in my little cell in MCCF. Yet it was Dave Martella who slowly began peeling back the onion, bit by bit, chipping away one fact at a time. He was able to get me out on a bond in 90 days (again, it should be noted I was accused of shooting at a police officer). Over the course of 18 months, in a manner befitting Sun Tzu or Von Clausewitz he parried and then countered every "fact" the state thought they had. This was because of Mr Martella's methodical approach to my case; chip away and chip away until their case simply has no structure to support it, and that is exactly what happened.  There wasn't flashy talk and self aggrandisement; just quiet, well thought out professionalism. By a little more than a year in, the state honestly had no idea what they were walking into if they were to take me to trial. Our defense was impregnable, and it was Mr Martella who had made it so. The case ended last month almost entirely in my favor. I maintained my business, my right to keep and bear firearms, my freedom, and walked away without conditions or a conviction . I cannot emphasize enough that Mr Martella saved my life and by extension my family. His staff of Vasquez, Z, fellow attorney Raquel Smith (The Queen of DUIs), Barry etc all kept me sane and informed during the darkest hours of my life.  If you are in trouble, do not hesitate to call Dave Martella. I believe men like him embody the ideals of American jurisprudence, and you can trust Mr Martella to work hard on your case and offer you the best defense you could possibly get. I would take a bullet for Dave Martella, that is a fact.
