The experience was great! All work was done both professionally and in a personable manner. We got a whole package of wills, POA, Trust, etc for a very reasonable rate.

My experience with The Tyra Law Firm, LLC was much easier than I thought it would be. I used their services on three separate occasions. The first time was while I was going through my divorce, the second time I asked for help with a personal injury case and received a wonderful referral to a lawyer who would specialize on my case, and the third time I turned to The Tyra Law Firm, LLC it was to have Mr. Tyra help me set up a "Special Needs Trust." I have turned to Mr. Tyra time and time and again because I feel as though he will tell me honestly what each legal matter will entail and even refer me to other lawyers if he feels the situation warrants it. Additionally, I feel as though I can ask questions when I've had them and that Mr. Tyra is an approachable lawyer, whereas some of the other lawyers I've meet do not appreciate the complexities that different legal cases may dig up, and are not as patient with their clients while explaining various legal situations. The law is complicated no matter what type of legal situation you may find yourself in, and Mr. Tyra is a lawyer that you know will explain the various legal situations you may face and look out for his clients.

I went to Neil for help with estate planning documents on the recommendation of a friend. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions...even the ones I didn't know to ask. We went through several drafts to make sure that my documents were all exactly how I wanted them, and overall the process was as painless as possible, which was what I was looking for. Highly recommended!

Neil helped me tremendously with both my nightmare of a divorce as well as my child custody agreement. Which both turned out better than expected. He came highly recommended from another attorney which did not practice law in DC. He very patient in explaining how the laws in DC work as to what I should and should not expect, he kept me up to date throughout the entire process. Upon the completion of my divorce, I've since used his services to set up my Estate Planning. I will definitely use him again in the future as it is hard to find someone you can trust and who actually has your best interest in mind.

I hired Neil for the first time about 2 years ago to help me through a divorce. He patiently explained to me the process, made sure that I was looking out for the best interests of me and my kids, etc. He made the entire process so much easier to handle and I walked away from it confident that without Neil I wouldn't be in as secure a situation. When the time came again, and I needed Neil's advice for my child support case, I was blown away by how helpful, responsive, and honest he was. It honestly felt like he dropped everything to answer my e-mails/calls. he even called me one time while he was on vacation for something that was no more than legal advice! Anecdote aside, Neil is wonderful. I trust him implicitly. I know he's always looking out for me.

Mr. Tyra handled a personal injury claim of mine in which he kept me completely informed about my options, giving me an honest appraisal of the situation at all times. He it tech-saavy and efficient with his communications. Mr. Tyra also gave me the respect I deserved without a hint of condescension in our dealings, despite my inexperience within the legal system. He is one of those attorneys that is not out there to make a quick buck, but puts his heart into whatever type of case he picks up - big or small.

I was recommended to Neil Tyra by another attorney when I was having visitation issues with the mother of my child. It had become a very intense situation and I was at my wits end. Neil took my case and reassured me that if I listened to him and followed his direction everything would work out. Needless to say everything did work out well. Neil always keept informed and up to date, he stayed professional throughout the ordeal even when he began to see and understand the consternation that I was going through when he was communicating with my child's mother. He even convinced the other lawyed that I was not the bad guy in this situation and that what I was asking for was not unreasonable. In the end everything worked out well and Neil was wonderful. Hopefully I will not need his services again for this situation, but if I do I will not hesitate to hire him again.

Neil is a very good "down to earth" everyday lawyer, he is working patiently with my best interest in mind, the best part is his charges are to the minimal, I will use him to take care me every time.
