Pros
1
Highly knowledgeable and skilled in estate planning, trusts, and tax law
“Gary Altman is an extraordinary lawyer. Smart. Thoughtful. Fun. He has worked on a range of challenges for me - from guiding my personal estate planning to providing extraordinary tax strategy and support to me as a fiduciary of a large and complex estate.”
2
Provides excellent guidance and solutions to complex legal matters
“Gary was a very, very good lawyer and trusted advisor in a particularly intense trusts and estates matter. The matter involved truly unbelievable acts by another set of attorneys and we could not have obtained the results we did against such attorneys without Gary's great acumen and guidance.”
3
Dedicated and responsive to client needs
“Since working with him, my every dealing with Gary has always been a pleasure, and that speaks volumes considering the surrounding circumstances and duress associated with the subject matter Gary has handled for me on a continuing basis over the past couple of years.”
4
Communicates legal concepts clearly and effectively
“Gary exhibits intelligent listening and tenacity, ultimately providing an excellent solution for my parents. His staff has always been helpful as well.”
5
Highly recommended by satisfied clients
“I can personally, unequivocally and without hesitation recommend Gary Altman to anyone who is in need of his help. He is truly the cream of the crop.”
Cons
1
Lack of responsiveness and communication with clients
“After more than two weeks we had not received anything. So after three weeks passed, we sent an email inquiring when we could expect to receive the draft documents reflecting the changes discussed at the meeting. In the email reply Gary Altman indicated we could expect drafts to be arriving no later than the end of the week, which would have been November 6. But nothing arrived.”
2
Potential for errors in legal documents
“After paying a significant sum to have legal documents prepared, I reviewed them and found that they contained some pretty basic errors. I called the attorney's office several times to have the errors corrected, to no avail.”
