Bill Blackford is excellent, thorough, pleasant to deal with, and and a good communicator. He provided legal consultation to my small business on matters ranging from employee matters and contracts with independent contractors to fighting subpoenas when the requested information is HIPAA-protected confidential patient information. This was earlier in his career, and when he didn't know something pertaining to my business, he researched it carefully rather than offering a less-than-fully-informed off-the-cuff legal opinion. I'll bet all that research over the years means he seldom has to look much up anymore. I highly recommend him.

I have to say, I was not sure what to expect. Mr. Blackford quickly put my mind at ease as I was anxiety ridden with all that I had to do. I found Mr. Blackford incredible. He really cared about what I needed and was eager to assist me. There are so few people that have such a high level of customer service. I use to manage the customer service department of an investment firm and I consider Mr. Blackford to be top notch in customer service. Not only did he walk me through all of the steps that I needed due to my mother’s recent death, but he took the time to explain each of the various forms. He would constantly ask me if I had any questions and he answered all of my concerns. I’ve had varied experience with lawyers in my business life, most of them as clients of mine, but I’ve also needed their services from time to time. My experience as a client of Bill Blackford was by far and large the best! First off, Bill is just a great guy. He’s empathetic, engaged and encouraging. Professionally all those are important, along with competence and creativity in the application of law. In addition, he has a sense of humor, which is immensely helpful because being sued is really frightening, and it’s hard to do your own part to make your case if you can’t relax and think strategically. No question, he actually cares about his clients. Along with paralegal Lois, Bill tirelessly shepherded me through all the tedious documents necessary for the trial. He knew when to hold back, always explained the reasoning, to my satisfaction, behind what he was doing, and always explained the implications of a legal move. He was terrific in court, and ultimately he successfully fought and won the case, after the opposition appealed and appealed. Bill tirelessly explained the potential cost involved with every critical move, and was always more than fair. I feel he was worth every penny of his fees, and I have already referred a friend to him, and would look no further for legal help in the future. I have immense respect for him as a professional and as a person.

I had the unfortunate experience of losing 2 close family members days apart in 2 different states. The stress of dealing with the loss and handling both estates was a lot.
