I am so glad I found Kate. She handled my divorce several years ago, and has helped me with various other matters since. My divorce was challenging, with custody concerns, tricky financial issues, and an ex-husband who vacillated between unreasonable stubbornness and argumentative interactions and ignoring us entirely (very unhelpfully). Kate helped me to navigate this minefield and got me what I still think was the best outcome possible, with the least cost and emotional turmoil. She was sensitive throughout; truly someone I felt I could trust in such a vulnerable time. Kate is still someone I turn to when I need legal advice and she has been unfailingly responsive and helpful. I have referred her to friends gladly when the need has arisen. I am happily remarried now, and there is no one else my wife and I would trust with our legal issues, particularly as we have same-sex parenting interests to protect.

I consulted with 4 attorney's before Kate. I hired Kate more than year ago for pursuing a divorce/post nup agreement. She was absolutely fantastic! It was a very stressful time. She is a consumate professional, also considerate and trustworthy. She is fair with her billing practices. In other words, I did not see any evidence of her trying to overbill me. Every dime I paid her was an investment in me and my family's future and was money well spent. The only thing that troubled me was the support staff (one person in particular). I could definitely tell when her support staff created a document vs. when Kate drew up the document. Multiple edits (typos and and demographic info on one son) on the document when support staff was used. Yes, I would use Kate again.

I hired Ms. McDonough on two separate occasions and both items were taken care of in a timely and accurate fashion. I have recommended her to many other people to handle their various items as I know she and her support staff do a great job handling legal matters.

Kathryn Mcdonough provided excellent service and had a very fast response time to my family law case related inquiry. Within a very short period of time, she had returned child support estimates based on Maryland support guidelines. She also provided solid, trustworthy legal advice, as my material circumstances had changed and needed to know how that might affect my previously awarded child-support court order.
