I like to take a moment to say thank you to the attorney's office and team. Now to shine the light on the young lady who didn't stop until (she said) the job was done. Not only did you go beyond the Call of Duty ( Early days, late nights.) your sincerity was felt every step of the way. "Sharon' You are definitely in the category of 'one of a kind.' Between the laughter, the tears and the unknown. You were there every step of the way making sure we understood the process. Sharon not only does your personality and character speak volume, but your work ethics or phenomenal. Every time a challenge would pop up you kept us in the loop and together we were able to get the task at hand completed. Thank you for what you have done for myself and family. I filled out a Melehy & Associates inquiry online on June 8, 2024. I did not receive a follow up call or email after this, so I called on June 18, 2024. Felipe stated he could not find my inquiry, so I provided the information. After emailing my information and scheduling a 10-minute consultation for July 30th, I called for my appointment yesterday and was informed that not only was my appointment not on the calendar, but the person who took my call could not find my information. When I finally spoke with the attorney, Mrs. Suvita Melehy, Esq., she apologized for the mishaps and explained they were understaffed. 30 seconds into explaining my case, Mrs. Melehy began to theorize AGAINST my case without understanding that the employer does not calculate credentials as both she and I do. She began to continuously interrupt me to the point I had to ask her if I could finish my sentence. Mrs. Melehy explained that her firm does not take civil rights cases on contingency, which I understand as a civil rights advocate, and she explained that Mr. Melehy's hourly rate is $675/hr., hers is around $625/hr., and junior associates' hourlies are ~$350-$450. She explained that they do not accept payment plans. While their hourly rates are so high that a judge recently ordered that their excessive attorney's fees charges be lowered in a case in April 2024, I was willing to pay their rate. Where Melehy & Associates lost a client with a valid case that will net higher than the $250,000 case Mrs. Melehy bragged about is when she decided not to listen to a potential client. It is clear their purpose is solely making money, not advocacy nor helping victims of discrimination. I highly suggest Melehy remove civil rights work from their offered services if money is their only motive.

Service was horrible!!!! i would NEVER reccomend this firm or the lawyers associated with my case. They took me for a run around for 2.5 years. Every lawyer that i had either quit this firm, got fired, or didnt want to take my case. I had a total of 5 throughout the whole case. They did not fight hard for me as their customer. I honestly think it was a race thing because they didnt really fight hard for my case at all. I did however get case settled. But for a measily 13,000 dollars. (Before lawyers fee, and medical expenses) After i walked away with a little over 7,000. For a rideshare car accident. I only gave one star because i had to rate. Also thank you to Andrew Lerner for setting my case after it was thrown on him. -Deonta Milburn

I would not give them a single star! My experience with this firm was awful! When I contacted them, I did so based on the good reviews, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. In my particular situation I was only looking for limited representation, only that they would help me with the drafting of certain legal documents for my divorce proceedings. At the first meeting the person assigned to my case was completely unprepared even though we had already had an informative phone conversation and I had provided all the necessary documents, she did not even know where the documents were not my case notes. To make a long story short, after agreeing to provide me with the document I needed on different dates which she never complied with, and after charging me $1000 dollars for literally nothing, I decided to terminate the firm's services. So I personally DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SERVICES OF THIS FIRM.

Attorney Kaitlyn Sweda represented me for my divorce and she was fantastic! Kaitlyn was responsive, sensitive, informative, helpful, and supportive. She advocated for my best interest and the best interest of my divorce complaint.This is my first divorce and will hopefully be my last However, I recommend Kaitlyn without hesitation or reservation to represent you in your divorce.
