I would definitely recommend the Whitney firm to anyone who is looking for an attorney who will fight for your best interest until the issue is resolved. I was far along in my pregnancy and had just purchased a new home. Unfortunately the seller violated our contract by not having proper permits and inspections completed on the house. After months of trying to track him down by myself, the Whitney firm was able to step in and get the seller to resolve all outstanding permits as per our contract. I dealt directly with Mr. Daniel Whitney Jr. and he always made me feel like my case was a priority. I am truly thankful for the great service I was provided with the Whitney firm.

Very professional and kindhearted office

After everything we went through I wanted to give up I felt like it was pointless to keep fighting but luckily our lawyer did not let us Mr. Whitney was there through everything for me and my family answered every phone call text email you name it. Adam Spence helped me through the administration of an estate where one heir was aggressively combative and disruptive throughout, disputing multiple aspects of the handling of the estate. Adam Spence, as well as Liz Johnson, proved to be extremely knowledgeable with regards to both the law and the details of my situation. Both were exceptionally thorough and responsive throughout the ordeal. When the hostile heir filed a legal petition, objecting to the handling of the estate, I planned on calling Adam the next day to discuss the filing. Before I got a chance to call the office during regular office hours, I received a detailed response from Liz by email at 7:30 the next morning, refuting each disputed item, by citing MD code and specific details regarding this estate. I had a legal problem and needed a attorney ASAP. I contacted the offices of Spence | Brierley via a referral from another attorney. Adam had me come to the office and we reviewed my case. In a few hours we went thru everything I had. It was amazing. Thru the use Microsoft Word and a black board system he set up a plan with the details I gave him. He gave me a list of things to gather information on. He also gave me his plans on what he had to do. Believe it or not, this was the only time I met with Adam until the depositions. We did all the work via email and phone. It was great. It didn't require traveling and everything was done as planned. He won the case and I received a substantial settlement.
