Dennis Twigg guided me through the tedious probate process of my friend's estate. He always answered my questions promptly and offered me choices regarding how to proceed on certain things. Overall, the probate took about a year.

I've been working with Damian Halstad for several years. I met him through a real estate transaction, and he was always easy to communicate with and very knowledgable. When my Husband and I decided to get our estate plan together, Damian sat down with both of us and went over all of our options. We had done a substantial amount of research on our own, which really only lead us to more questions. Damian was able to answer all of our questions, and wrote up our entire estate plan. I'm very grateful for the time he took with us. I have also referred several friends, family and clients to him. They have all thanked me for sending them his way. Damian Halstad is a great lawyer. He handled my mother's Will and Trust and I was the Personal Representative of my mother's Estate. It was a long ordeal as we had to deal with my contentious sister that tried to undermine my mother's Will to her advantage. However, Damian and his team deftly managed the process. He provided the legal advice and expert counsel I needed to navigate all of the roadblocks that she threw at me. It would have been so much easier if we didn't have to deal with my sister's animosity and self-serving actions. However, had it not been for Damian and his team, I feel that the process would have dragged on a lot longer than it did. He and his team tried to minimize the costs and mitigate the financial damage that my sister incurred against my mother's Estate. In the end, I was so glad that my mom had chosen Damian Halstad and his law firm as her lawyer.

D Halstad was the attorney in charge of settling my mother's estate, I do not recommend him for writing/executing Estates & Wills. He did not follow my mother's wishes before her death when she requested a change her Financial P.O.A. After she died he concealed information by not providing us with both parents' Wills, not providing a full appraisal of land, & not informing me of my right to purchase my parents' property. Then when both Wills were evident he argued that I did not have this right, although the Wills were clear. He advocated additional payments for a sibling just to fulfill requirements of the Will. I obtained a lawyer which required me to spend an additional 13K. This arbitration tacked up more time for himself enabling him to earn more money. He assigned tasks to my attorney, which were his responsibility, & then refused to pay her. I did purchase the property & obtain what was rightfully mine, but only after he was threatened with court appeals & hearings.

I have worked with Dennis Twigg and his team on several complicated estates over the years and am continually impressed by his expertise and professionalism. Working with this firm has provided an unquantifiable amount of peace of mind, reassurance and guidance.
