I have tried several law offices for assistance and finding Kathleen was the best thing that could have happened. She is extremely intelligent, kind and professional. I would give her 6 stars if I could. I could not be in better hands.

Kathleen and Associates are an oasis in a desert. Her knowledge of divorce law is broad and deep. Her advice is pragmatic, sophisticated and fast forwards to bottom-line results. She is empathic, nurturing, strong and very seasoned. Her instincts have clarity and yet abundant nuance. She is first and foremost your coach, mentor and advocate but steers you away from your emotional errors and harmful impulsiveness. You feel much better after you leave her office, listened to, cared about, in good hands. I can enthusiastically recommend her and her firm.

I hired the Foley & MacArdie firm after my now former wife surprised me, last spring, with her intention to file for divorce. The other surprise (without belaboring the unfortunate details) was that she hired a firm whose principal surreptitiously assigned a terrible, amoral lawyer to handle her case without my former wife's knowledge or consent. It turns out that said opposing lawyer has a 1-star AVVO review, consistently horrific AVVO reviews by her former clients, and had been disciplined on multiple occasions by state licensing authorities. Once my former wife found out about this surreptitious reassignment, she demanded that her case be reassigned to another attorney. Kathy Foley and her team were cognizant of that lawyer's bad reputation, and handled the case with wisdom, sensitivity, and respect for the well being of BOTH myself and my former wife, just as I wished. I urge anyone who desires a divorce to be settled amicably--handled with the goal of avoiding unnecessary conflict & expense, and promoting a constructive post-divorce relationship--to give the Foley & MacAdie firm your most serious consideration! Based on my own experience, they deserve your confidence and trust.

I have used Kathleen Ann Foley's law firm since 2012. Going through a divorce is a difficult situation in itself, add a child and custody issues in, and it's almost an impossible situation. This firm was committed to my wants and needs through my divorce and most recently, custody issues. They successfully guided me through all of my legal issues. They were upfront and honest with me and helped me see the reality of certain situations when my own judgement was clouded. They responded to all my emails and phone calls with minutes to hours. I hired the Foley and MacAdie law firm back in 2009 to divorce my abusive husband. Thinking this would be simple and l'd finally be free, shortly after I was now being abused through my ex with the courts. Two custody battles, comtempts and anything else you can thing of. The firm at Foley and MacAdie have done their best. They are all very attentive and actually really care about myself and my family. Understanding my financial situation they worked with me to get the best results for myself and my children.. I started with Jessica MacAdie an amazing attorney, very confident and very smart. Working now with Lauren Jones, she is great! I feel confident knowing Kathy Foley and Jessica over see everything. I don't just have one attorney, I have the whole team.

Kathleen handled my separation and divorce back in th early 90s. I found her and the office to be both caring and professional. Her guidance and direction helped me throughout the years in dealing with custody/financial issues with my ex. Most of the time our dealings were long distance but Kathleen always was available for me and made me feel I was a priority.

I hired Attorney MacAdie's office to handle my divorce case in 2012. It turned complicated and difficult. their office handled everything very professionally and thoroughly. There were several court appearances. The case lasted over 2yrs ending with a multiday trial. Jessica and her staff were very prepared, and in the end prevailed. I read the one negative review below here. Through the 2yr ordeal I didn’t experience any problem with the office, attorney's or staff. I never once thought about changing counsel and going elsewhere. I would recommend this office.

On our first meeting we explained to her what we were looking for the courts to do, she laughed at the defendant saying this was an easy case "he's a loser". She then quoted us a price of $2,500.00 to represent us. We explained to Foley we were on a limited budget and she reassured us she could complete the case for the retainer fee. Two weeks before our court date we were told another retainer fee was due. I called Foley to ask her what happened. After two days she called me back. Foley told me that I had to understand I was asking for the courts to do several things, I agreed but told her that we haven’t asked for anything more then what requested in our first meeting, Foley had no response to this. After going to court all the motions that Foley laughed at were taken off the table because the courts wouldn’t hear them. The cost of this case went from $2,500.00 to almost $7,000.00 with the defendant being able to go back to court in six months to regain custody of the minor child. Horrible law firm.
