I could not be more thankful for finding Attorney David White at Breakstone, White & Gluck, PC. In November, 2008 I was injured in a Bonfire Accident due to a person's negligent acts. I sustained 2nd, 3rd and 4th degree burns to my hands, neck and face. The emotional and physical trauma that I underwent was unimaginable. So you can imagine my horror when my health insurance company did not want to cover the cost of most of my procedures (due to dispute of medical necessity vs cosmetic procedures), and the Insurance company for the Home that I was injured at did not think they were liable for the cost of my injury either. I was at a complete loss, and did not know who I could turn to for help. Luckily I found David White, who is not only a great attorney, but most importantly, is also a kind, compassionate, and wonderful human being. From the moment that I walked into his office, he treated me with respect and compassion. He took the time to listen to all of my concerns and grievances, and offered to take me on as a client. The day that I became his client, was the first day that I was able to focus on my recovery both physically and emotionally. He immediately took over my fight with the Insurance Companies, and let me focus on what was most important to me; my physical and emotional well-being. He was always easily available via phone, e-mail, or in person and took the time to answer any and all questions that I had. He also took over all communication with the insurance companies, which took a huge emotional weight off my shoulders. He took the stress off of me with the insurance companies, and made sure that the cost of my procedures were covered. Because of this I was able to return to college and graduate as a Nurse, all thanks to David. As of March, 2014 because of David White and his firms diligence, hard work and effort, my case was settled. The cost of my many procedures (over 26) were covered, and I was awarded a settlement for the emotional and physical suffering that I had undergone. Because of David White and his Firm, I am beginning to move on with my life, and have finally found acceptance. Marc Breakstone is a top-notch attorney who is genuine, nice and honest. He is very easy to talk to and very prompt at responding your questions and concerns. I was rear ended over three years ago. The other car insurance company wanted me to settler without me even knowing the severity of my injury. Once I started treatments, the hospital wanted me to pay for bills the insurance didn't cover. I just want to say when I called Marc Breakstone about a fall I had taken he wasn't sure about the case. He listened to what happened and said yes I will take the case because you are a friend and I like you. He said he couldn't promise anything because a slip and fall is hard to prove. It was a matter of who was at fault the owners of the building or the city. He assigned the case to his Associate Sam Segal. I will tell you that Sam is the nicest, kindest person and also Brilliant. It is four years later and after much hard work Sam won a Judgment Summary against the owners of the building. This was a major turning point in my case. A car turned in front of me while I was bicycling, causing me some injuries. I live close to the downtown area, so I stopped in-person at a few law offices to chat so that I could interview the prospective attorneys about my potential case "for no obligation." Either their offices didn't look professional, or the attorneys didn't look very presentable, or I didn't get the right vibe while talking to many of them. However, all that changed much for the better when arriving at David White's office. After 15 minutes of chatting, I knew I was in good hands. One of his specialties is bicycle accidents. We conversed about how the new Hubway bikes have been a big help with our own personal commutes at times. Thank you Attorney Breakstone. Because of your phenomenal representation with my father’s wrongful death, my mother who was dependent on my father’s loving care received the care she needed. At the start of this journey that began with a car accident that would ultimately claim my father’s life, all I wanted to do was be with my father as he lay in the ICU, connected to more life supporting machines than I ever hope to see again, and to comfort my poor mother who had depended on my father for so long. I didn’t want to do or think about anything else, certainly not to seek legal counsel as visions of opportunistic ambulance chasers and bad TV ads and posters on buses came to mind - it just felt wrong. I am happy to say that my mother was able to live for the remaining three years of her life in this facility. It is has been an absolute pleasure and I am very fortunate to say that I had Ron Gluck as representation in my recent Personal Injury case in a head on collison with a Drunk Driver in Jan 2013.
