I had an issue with a neighbor over a parking space problem and a property boundary dispute. I was desperate to resolve the problem because there was a lot of tension between the neighbor in question and myself as a result of this disagreement. I am a developer and have worked with Calabrese Law Associates a few times for the last few yrs. I retained the firm specifically to prepare a number of contracts that were used to facilitate my company's purchase of vacate lots of land, to outline the duties of contractors who would perform the construction work, and finally the sale of the developments. The firm has helped my business greatly over the years and each time I work with them it is a great experience. On one occasion a dispute arose between my company and the seller of land after I agreed to purchase the land for development. In fact, the seller tried to change the terms of the agreement by increasing the final sale price. Attorney Calabrese and his firm did not allow that to happen! In fact the firm quickly prepared a demand letter that it served upon the seller demanding that the seller honor the terms of the purchase agreement. The letter was well written and did prompt the seller to change his attitude and sell the property as agreed. Calabrese law associates is there for you whenever you need them, even on short notice. I have found this to be especially important when transactions are ongoing as things can change (for the worse) very quickly. Also, it is easy to schedule meeting with the firm's lawyers and they are willing to meet with client at late hours when necessary. The firm's office is easily accessible from the orange line off the T and there is an onsite parking garage. I have recommended Calabrese law associates to my business partners, friends and family.

I have used Calabrese Law Associates to create a contract for my Construction Company and recently was helped to get my money back from a non-paying developer. Peter Calabrese was prompt and knowledgable on tackling my case and was able to achieve the results exceeding my expectations. A hired Calabrese law associates to represent me in court when a dispute arose involving a real estate investment. I had hired a few contractors and things were going well but all of a sudden the contractors stopped working. The firms lawyer were quick to act and made a written demand to the contractors immediately. The contractors actually commenced work again but weeks later they stopped working. The firm then advised me to replace the old contractors and demand a return of my deposit form the old contractors. An agreement was negotiated by the firm and I did receive a large chuck of a deposit monies refunded, avoiding a costly and timely consuming lawsuit. I these lawyers handled the case perfectly.

-DO NOT HIRE: Calabrese Law Associate's- To be honest, the legal services rendered to me were mediocre at best. Not only did I lose my case due to the poor timing of everything, but I was misrepresented as well. Showing up to court initially, I under the impression that Attorney Michael J. Moore would represent me in a professional manner in front of the opposing Attorney during my Landlord/Tenant dispute. Unfortunately that did not happen in the way I had planned. Immediately I felt belittled, disrespected and as if I was the only person fighting in my corner throughout this dispute. If you need any details then I'd be happy to provide them to you personally but out of respect for their practice, I will not mention any specifics in this review... I am very disappointed in the outcome of my case, especially because I put my complete trust in their firm to act in my absolute best interest. I think people who are desperately trying to search for good legal help on the web should have a right to know who they are hiring before entering into a contract that they'll later regret signing. I have retained a couple of lawyers in the past and was represented by them in a much more comforting and professional manner; A huge difference between how it was handled then and how Calabrese Law Associate's handled it. I WILL NOT be needing any other legal services from this firm in the future. I expected a lot more for the money I paid and was greatly let down in the end. This is a genuine concern that I have for people retaining legal services on the web who are desperately in need of seeking any kind of legal help. Although Lawyer's tend to be very expensive, my advise to anyone who is searching for a good lawyer on the internet is to pay the extra hourly rate. Just because you believe you're getting a good deal from someone initially, it doesn't mean they will act in your best interest and you will be paying so much more in the end. Save yourselves the heartache/trouble, DO NOT hire Calabrese Law Associate's for any legal matter. Just a heads up, they will take your money, you WILL lose your case and after all that, you'll get a bill in the mail 5 days after the dispute has settled, asking for MORE money that you SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE. Very disappointed indeed...

Nicholas Ortiz has helped me on three separate occasions. When his office staff was too busy to handle a last minute request, Nicholas wrote and said he would take care of me and he did. I must say Raven Moslinger was an absolute angel under cover... I made a call emailed a few documents and signed on the dotted line the next thing I know he's got a settlement offer of more that I could have imagined and I never had to leave my house!!
