When our landlord decided to keep our security deposit for no reason I thought it would be more time and money than it was worth to contest. Thankfully we were referred to Clifford Law by someone who had used them before. Not only did it not cost a dime, our security deposit was returned! We just had to present the facts and paperwork, they took care of the rest. Lin Wang is very attentive, hard working and empathetic. We feel very vindicated and it's all due to her efforts.

I'm a Fulbright scholar at MIT from South Africa. My program started mid November 2022 and as per the norm I started searching for accommodation in Boston. I came across Junehomes and signed a lease with them, however, the treatment I was served by Junehomes was inhuman. I got into the shared accommodation and it has numerous issues, faulty heating system, no hot water and it was infested with coachroaches. I spent a cold night in a freezing bedroom and the kitchen stove was also not working so I couldn't even boil some water. All issues were reported to them and the next day I had to find an alternative accommodation. I had paid , deposit and rental money and asked them to terminate the lease and refund. It got crazy worse and emotionally draining until I walked into Clifford Law office, they took the case from me and finally I could focus on research, the core reason for being in the US. Clifford Law took the case and was understanding of even my financial situation or constrain. If you ever find yourself in such a situation I suggest you visit their office. We had a win, they refunded us and I had the most win as they took the stress from me.
