Cons
1
Reluctance to take on certain types of cases (e.g. tenant representation)
“I contacted Tempus Fugit Law, because I saw, after having done extensive research that the law firm handles Tenant/Landlord disputes. I felt that with all the stress and anxiety that I and my partner had suffered over all the issues in the apartment and then to have the landlady's husband threaten me with physical violence that they would definitely take on our case to sue the landlady for constant negligence, her harassing behavior and of course her husband's threats of violence against me. I had called the firm over the weekend and left a voicemail message. I was called back that week by an intern who took all my information. We were on the phone for just over 40 minutes. When we were done he told me that within a few days someone from the firm would be in touch with me. After I hadn't heard anything from the firm for a few days I decided to call the intern and see where my case was at. He told me had passed all my information along to them a few days ago after we had spoken and told me he would follow-up and call me back. When the intern called me back he told me, in a nutshell that the firm would rather represent landlords and not tenants.”
