Definitely wouldn’t recommend. I had a slip and fall about 5 years ago… and just now got compensated, didn’t even get that much. In the time it took my injury suit closed out and settled, we went through an entire pandemic, I lost my father and my husband, I had a child, had a stroke, recovered from a stroke fully, was diagnosed with a heart condition and was no longer a minor. I still can’t believe how long it took. When I first called to start speaking with an attorney they said 12-18 months for payment and closure of the case. 5 YEARS later. Here we are. Wow. If you want a shark for an attorney who actually cares about you and your case, I don’t recommend Simon and Simon. Especially cause they took almost 2/3rds of my settlement money after I’ve been suffering for 5 years. Today, I spoke to a gentleman from Simon and Simon after they had reviewed my review. We were able to have a conversation and spoke about the issues I had put above. He did tell me that he would speak to a few people about a communication issue and try to have that resolved in hopes this would help people in the future using Simon and Simon. As I appreciate the call and conversation about the issues I spoke of, I do not feel as if this review is wrong. I have chosen to keep this review up because even though I had a discussion with a representative, my issues still happened. And I do believe that other people should be made aware and have the opportunity to see how others were treated. I appreciate your time today, however I will not be removing this review. Thank you.

I'm not going to say I'm glad that I was in a situation where contacting an attorney was necessary, but I will say that since I was already in that situation, I'm very grateful to have found Attorney Barison. I first called Attorney Barison on Friday night of a holiday weekend. He answered the phone and spoke to me for over twenty minutes. He gave me his undivided attention & explained my situation from a legal standpoint & in a way that I could understand. When I first called him I was scared, embarrassed, confused, and overwhelmed. If you're looking at reviews for a lawyer you may very well feel the same way right now. He didn't pressure me to hire him, didn't rush me off the phone, & our conversation felt like I was talking to a friend that's a lawyer. His fee structure makes sense & is in such a way that I didn't feel like I was racking up a bill for every conversation we had. Attorney Barison was always available to answer any of my questions, & made sure that I was updated every step of the way. Through Matthew Barison's skill & legal expertise he was able to get a truly amazing outcome & I am beyond satisfied with the representation I received. He is a truly special person & I am so grateful for his assistance & support. **As an extra gold star, you can tell that Attorney Barison is well respected among his peers in the legal community, which was very evident while we were in court.

Completely the worst law firm ! They rip you off and take over 50% of your settlement! The communication is so bad and takes them weeks to months To respond back! I had to email And call everyday to get them to respond. Took them over five years to settle my case and didn’t not listen to me”the client “ on why I wanted.

I would refer Simon& Simon to all friends and family and also coworkers. They really keep you up to date on everything, I mean everything they are constantly in contact with you at all times. Such Great team work honestly I wish that all Law firms were so passionate about settling their clients cases in the order that they do.
