After years of trying to do it myself I took a leap of faith and contacted Rob Levine’s office. Even when I was satisfied with the initial results Jamie wasn’t and immediately appealed the VAs decision. She’s very knowledgeable of the VA Disability process and laws. I have been dealing with continuously worsening service-connected disabilities since I got out of the Military in 2011. I have been chronically under-rated and had to fight tooth and nail for every increase using VSO's. My specific case is complex, which has made it very hard to file anything using just a VSO. I used a local VSO and filed in for TDIU in 2019 after exhausting all other options, running up thousands of debt trying to stay afloat, and being unable to hold employment for more than a few months at a time since I got out. I was denied by the VA. The VSO wouldn't even consider helping with an appeal and recommended I consult a VA Lawyer. After considerable research into different firms, I contacted Rob Levine's Law firm and was referred to Jaime Caprietta who reviewed my case and agreed to represent me. It was a godsend! Not only are their fees on the lower end (only 20% of my back-pay in my specific example, but varies based on case, I'm sure), but she also was able to explain each step of the process. She would patiently explain what we needed to gather in order to fully develop my appeal and then re-explain when my memory issues had me asking the same question a few times. When I was ready to give up (in more ways than one), she encouraged me to hang in there and trust the process. Whenever I had a question or concern, I just emailed or called her and she would get back to me very quickly. She treated me like a Veteran, not a number. I would highly recommend her to any veteran who needs legal representation to help them with their case. They know what they are talking about and can make sense of the convoluted process of VA appeals. She started representing me at the end of 2019, and I just got the news that I am now getting a 100% rating.
