Sergey was representing my case which was an Assault With A Deadly Weapon, conviction would result in incarceration of up to 5 years in jail. With no prior criminal history conviction would still have catastrophic consequences to me and my family due to my immigration status. For the same reason our only choice was either go to trial and roll the dice on my own life or try to get pre trial probation (PTP an administrative form with no admission of guilt) which is very hard to get in MA as it was a shared opinion from all the lawyers I consulted with. Sergey was a professional all the way through, from follow ups to court appearances, always following "under-promise and over-deliver" formula. He gathered all the evidence necessary to get the PTP and ultimately that was the result (6 months with anger management course as part of the deal). I never had run ins with the law before and if you are reading this you are probably a nervous wreck like I was few months ago, looking for someone who can help. I went through several consultations before I called Sergey and let me tell you there are some special kind of sleaze balls out there preying on somebody's trouble. I know because I met more than a few of them over the years in my line of work in car business and there are some stereotypical "used car salesmen" calling themselves "lawyers" out there. Those ones that can't care less about you, your case, your family, anything but the thickness of your wallet. Well Sergey is the direct OPPOSITE of that! More to it-his experience as a D.A. gives him a unique perspective through the eyes of the one who will try to put you in jail.
