I contacted Robin Gorenberg in the midst of the pandemic to update my will, trust, healthcare proxy and power of attorney. She responded in a timely manner to all questions, and thoroughly researched prior documentation, discovering an important prior omission, (my real estate attorney had not filed the homestead exemption at closing). She provided detailed information on trust issues, and also provided helpful referrals for in-person signing.

My sister and I worked with Robin Gorenberg on our respective wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care proxies. Robin was extremely helpful and happy to assist with our multiple questions. It can be a very intimidating process of getting these documents in place and we felt so comfortable working with Robin. I first procured the legal services of Robin Gorenberg several years ago, when both my parents were still living. I don't know what we would have done without her expertise in Estate Planning. Robin Gorenberg has been resourceful, flexible and intelligent, helping us create our respective Wills, Health Care Proxies and Powers of Attorney. Our requirements were not straightforward, having married late in life with different sets of children and grandchildren. She gave us advice remotely, was patient with our questions, and emailed and mailed us the final documents that we needed, in good time and at reasonable cost. We hired Robin Gorenberg to complete our estate planning work in early 2019. We had received the recommendation from my company’s General Counsel. While he had not used Robin personally, he did have a number of colleagues that provided very good reviews related to her work. We found the process to be very easy with Robin as she guided us through all of the various options citing pro’s and con’s of taking certain steps along the way. She was very good at explaining technical concepts in layman’s terms and providing recommendations, but not coming across as overly pushy in terms of her recommendations. Her final work product was very timely and fully complete and her fees were fair for the high quality work. My wife and I would highly recommend her for Estate Planning counsel and will continue to utilize her services as the need arises in the future.

For years, my husband and I had been putting off preparing our estate plan (EP) partly out of concerns over our unfamiliarity with the legal procedure, amount of time it would take to pull together the requirements and the challenges of finding the right lawyer. We finally decided to bite the bullet and picked out Robin's name from the internet after reading a couple of reviews. All my earlier fears about selecting a lawyer off the net instead of through personal referrals was put totally to rest at our first meeting with Robin. She was a thorough professional and yet very approachable. We had an initial phone meeting followed by a face to face with her. During both those meetings, she provided a clear overview of the estate planning process and spelt out our various options and the pros and cons of each. At the same time, she was careful to never steer us towards one option over the other but gave us the time to mull over the information provided and make our decision based on our circumstance and need. Following the two meetings, all our communications were through emails. Her responses were very prompt and thorough. She answered all of our questions patiently and worked closely with us and in a timely fashion through several rounds of reviews and updates to the various EP documents till they were finalized. She was extremely knowledgeable about the laws (both federal and state) governing trusts, wills, Power of Attorney, probate and demystified the legalese for us. Her fees were reasonable and there were no hidden costs. The full fee structure was explained very clearly prior to signing up with her. Robin was very personable and easy to interact with. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to others who require similar services. I know where to go if/when I need to update my EP or for any other related service.
