Adam assisted us in reviewing our Trust Documents to insure all was correct and understood. We found him to be a very compassionate and caring person. Adam Avratin has been representing me and my son in a custody case for the past five years. During this time, Adam exhibited the highest level of care for my son – and for what is right and just in life (and in the court/world of law). In working with Adam, it became quickly clear to me that Adam was (is) incredibly versed in the rules of law, and he was always incredibly well prepared for discussions. Most important, he was prepared and very articulate in front of the judge. In my case, Adam was far better than the attorney representing the other side, and in every situation, Adam out-classed and out-smarted the other attorney – but not in a sleazy or manipulative way. Rather, Adam knew the facts better, knew the “lawyer rules” better, and knew the case better. And he articulated this so very well to the judge. As a result of Adam's work, I now have 50-50 custody with my son... not an easy feat in the state of Massachusetts. Making it even more difficult were the manipulative tactics and “stretched facts” that the opposing attorney presented. But Adam never gave up nor did he resort to such tactics. He focused on what was best for my son and what the laws would support. I’m now approaching the third year of 50-50 time with my son. My son is healthier, happier, and life is much better (for everyone) because of the new custody arrangement.
