Ashley is an outstanding lawyer. We found her through a personal recommendation. Personable and efficient, she exceeded our expectations. She met with my parents at their retirement facility and advised and guided them through establishing the estate plan they wanted. She educated them on the finer points of Massachusetts estate law tailored to their specific situation. This gave them optimized and advantageous options to get them to the plan they wanted. Our family will continue to use her services and we recommend her to anyone in need of a noteworthy lawyer with a truly personal touch.

Ashley was initially lovely to talk through and was very friendly and helpful. After we paid her, she completely ghosted us. We paid a significant sum of money for legal services and 6 months later I am still waiting for my documents. I have repeatedly emailed and reached out through other channels as well. Despite assurances that my documents are "on their way" I still have not received them. Communication is extremely poor when it happens at all. Even more dismaying is hearing other people share that they had the same experience with Dotchin Law. Do yourself a favor and work with someone who can actually deliver your legal documents to you in a timely fashion.

Ashley is one of the lawyers you hope you find when looking. She is honest, sincere, and truly cares. She was able to draft up the paperwork to create a living trust for my house and other assets. I had her work reviewed by the legal team at my financial management office and they had nothing but good things to say about her and even asked for her contact info to refer clients to her.

The Good: I worked with Ashely to set up a trust, will and other estate documents. She was very diligent and meticulous about the requirements, took time to educate me on the process and the items, and delivered the documents in time. The bad: After delivering the documents I noticed a few things did not make sense. First I asked my house to be put under the trust, however when I search in town database, my name still shows up. I thought this would be fixed. I have emailed asking about this being fixed, and zero response. She wouldn’t even send me the original copies or a PDF version of the documents when I asked. I have emailed her numerous times and got no response at all. I paid a hefty price for the work and I honestly feel ripped off. Unless you are paying her, don’t expect even a response back. I thought she would be more professional. I would not work with her company again.

When my Mom passed in 2020, I became the last survivor in my biological family. It was an overwhelming time.
