Five years ago, I asked Mr. Perlman represented my son during the most difficult time for my son and my family. My son’s in school district program just was not good fit for his needs. Mr. Perlman is very professional, clearly stated his strategy on the matter and what were expected from the parents. As the results of his guidance, superb judgement and strong legal representation, the outcome could not have been any better. My son was placed in the best residential program for his need and condition. He was very happy in the new school and was able to develop many new vocational skills in the new educational environment. Michelle Moor literally saved my daughter from dying inside and being forced into the public school system when she has ASD and could not cope in the environment. The district wanted my daughters to fail and kept putting more IEP goals in - all of which were not appropriate. Even when my daughter failed they still rejected the out of district request due to the $. We contacted Dan to help us obtain an Out of District placement for our 7th grade son. Dan's reputation and experience made this process extremely smooth. We discovered that our Special Ed. Administrator had worked with Dan in a prior setting and had great respect for his judgement, expertise and integrity. Dan was always responsive in taking our calls, patient in hearing the details of our story, and very conscientious and efficient in billing us only for the work that he thought was key to achieving our goal - it was a highly economical transaction!! I can't recommend Dan highly enough - he always responds to my calls within 24 hours and is generous with his time in terms of clarifying the issues at stake and strategizing on how to move forward in a diplomatic and effective fashion.
