Grateful is not even close to how I feel about George's involvement with my case. I was in dire straits due to poor counsel previously and pro se mistakes. In the 25th hour, I was referred to George by a reputable friend. George showed immense compassion, understanding and was direct. George was realistic with what I should expect given the circumstances. He was able to identify key points, that had been previously overlooked, that should have been used to support my case. His knowledge of the legal system and courts was advanced in comparison to others I have interacted with. They say a good lawyer knows the law, but a great lawyer knows the courts. George is a great lawyer and would be an asset to anyone who commissioned his services. I would definitely take advantage of any opportunity to work with George again if circumstances called for it.

This gentleman represented me when I adopted a child. Adopting a child is a very big deal as far as I'm concerned . He did a great job with that part. The part I was not ok with is the 100 percent fact that attorney jabour represented my father , myself and other family members as hes known my familyforever. In his words , he knew my grandmothers mother. The women I now know was the only person in my life who was genuine . She knew I was raising both my sons alone and she had said she had plans to help me . We didnt talk past that . Only that shed set up a trust in my name . My grandmother accomplished a lot in life. She owned a very successful business. My GM passed in 2013 . I wrote her eulogy , spoke at church and carried her casket . Fast forward to January 2018. Papers start showing up at my house. Beneficiary forms for annuity , life insurance , trust documents, etc . Included in those papers was this lawyers personal representative form . Signed by mr jabour. Along with it was a paper understating the value of my grandmothers estate. He claimed her estate was worth under 50k and had her estate and trust informally probated . Meaning he neglected to tell me anything about the stuff my grandmother left to me , to help me raise my sons. Along with the papers was another paper showing that he'd left me off of her list of heirs and beneficiaries. I was told my grandmother hadn't even thought of me when she passed. She told me watch out before she passed because I'd be attacked. In other words people wouldnt like what shed done for me. but I trusted the people around me . They were my family and families life long friends. You can imagine how it felt to have distribution papers for a 42000 dollar check show up at my home. Someone in a financial company had taken it upon themself to photocopy and mail me the trust documents and other things in January of 2018. 5 years after my gm passed. I made an apt with attorney jabour and went to his office . When I mentioned i came because I was in a financial hardship and had heard nothing from her personal representative in 5 years that I'd come to him asking him to just correct the things that were not done right. My kids at this point had gone over a year with no health insurance. I didnt have a job because I'm in recovery 10 years and couldn't work at my families pharmacy anymore, it was a hard job to be in . so I went on to build my own business and it took everything I'd had . When I told mr jabour that I'd needed help that a lot of stuff was left out in my name and had gone into the states unclaimed property . Why let cds and annuity and stocks bonds mutuals just disappear when I needed help?Mr jabour went on to tell me , both you and I know your grandmother wouldnt want me anywhere near her estate . This conversation happened last week. One year of no answers after finding out a lot was not done right. Then he went onto tell me. Oh your grandmothers estate that was ten years ago that's done. (My grandmother passed in Feb 2013 .) She probated her living trust estate and will in 2008 . Mr jabour didnt know I knew that. Mr jabour also right after finding out in March 2018 that I'd found out some information. Well my adopted son is a teen and wanted a new jeep. I wanted my son to work for it. My son wanted to switch schools . I wanted him to commit to a school . To take focus off of what they did to me mr jabour then went into the same probate court he helped me adopt my son in and represented my ex against me going for contempt of court against me , while being personal rep to something I was a beneficiary of. Before that it was coaching my son to say things in school to have dcf show up at my house. After I was cleared and got a letter from dcf saying no one but me could sign my sons school papers , my jabour went on still to get a judge to let my sons mother allow him to change. (I have custody) . The judge allowed it. He then refused to even comment about my gms estate.
