Bad divorce lawyer seems like a decent criminal defense attorney. Charged me $5000 and that was only until I switched lawyers halfway through. My ex was able to lie under oath multiple times during the pretrial with no repercussions. My invoice was questionable ( stated calls were made and my cell phone bill didn’t have the same record ) and for the 6 months (during covid) very little work was done on my case to justify that amount . Charging $125 to scan in paperwork (isnt that was paralegals and secretaries do? )for a client on disability retirement who has to sell her house and give 1/2 her disability check to her ex is why layers have bad reputation- I felt like he was working for my ex and his lawyer and there was a boys club - there wasn’t going to be any kind of “win for me” I was told directly.
