Attorney Ed Howard Jr. has helped me a great deal. Originally the DUA denied my benefits. I called Ed Jr. very last minute, under extreme pressure. He got us a hearing and he helped me win, resulting in me receiving many weeks of benefits in one lump sum. Afterwards, Ed Jr. told me about the TOP Program, which is a program, run through the DUA that is allowing me to earn a additional 26 weeks of benefits while they pay $8,000 for me to go to school for IT. Now it's many months later and suddenly I had monetary issues blocking me from receiving my extended benefits. I had a difficult time understanding the wording in the DUA notices. I don't know how they expect any normal person to understand these things either. I called and Ed Jr. immediately got to work on my case and resolved my issues. He did this completely free of charge!

Ed and Andrea have been wonderful to work with. They were alway there for me. All my questions and concerns were immediately addressed in a friendly and professional manner. Although the insurance company fought tooth and nail to make this case as difficult as possible, Ed and his team fought even harder. In the end, we prevailed decisively. Attorney Howard II is brilliant. In the spring of 2020 I started a new job. After two week the company shut down because of the pandemic. I applied for unemployment and was approved. The fall of 2023 I received a letter that I needed to pay back the money I had received. This was a very stress position to be in. It was a sizable amount. I am 64 years old and retired so I did not know how I was going to repay this money. Luckily for me an attorney friend of mine, who is also awesome, found Attorney Howard for me. He knows the unemployment system very well. I never could have figured out all the message and correspondence that they were sending me. He truly has an amazing mind and I ended up (because of him) owing nothing. And the kicker, they ended up owing me money. Lol. I HIGHLY recommend using Attorney Howard if you find yourself in a situation like mine. And..... he is a really nice guy!

I had the pleasure of speaking with Attorney Howard who was very helpful in identifying the issue with a DUA claim. Long story short, the system stated I wasn’t going to receive benefits until the severance payment period is over. If any other issues pop up after that period, I will happily reach back to the office to proceed further!

Ed Jr is the best attorney I have ever had the privilege of working with, hands down! The Massachusetts DUA can be tricky to navigate. They make everything super complicated & it was overwhelming for me to navigate through the process alone. If you don't have legal representation & you say one thing wrong or make just one little mistake, you stand the chance of squandering what opportunity you may have at receiving benefits. Originally, after waiting 7-8 weeks, my MA Unemployment benefits were denied. I felt lost & hopeless, as though I was fighting a uphill, losing battle.
