When getting ready to purchase my first home I heard tales of how much trouble closing can be. When it came time to sign all the papers Mike walked through each page and summarized in plain language what the signature was for, and made everything a breeze. The sellers weren't as prepared, but with Mike and the rest of my team, everything was sent promptly and cleared with no issues.

I'd say no stars, but I had to give one. My elderly mom has a will from 1998 and nothing else. Mike said he would do a will, estate planning and a couple other small things...that are huge when you're 85! Gave her a price, and we never heard from him again. Not sure if that is even ethical. I have called repeatedly. He was in the hospital, but working from home. I left messages with the secretary and his voicemail.. nothing. Now my mom has to speak to someone else, knowing how tough it is to get her to open up. What he did was cruel.

I too would give him a zero. We are having the same problems others have about lack of communication, follow through, and professionalism. Two months ago he thought it might be three more days. I gave him a down payment and am now very concerned. We are going into 9 months since we hired him. He almost never makes contact to tell us how things are progressing. There is always a different excuse. A simple quick email would have been wonderful. Not wanting to be a bother, I wait weeks to a month before trying to contact again. I call or email and occasionally get through to him but for three weeks now he has told me he will get back to me the next week and each week I have to contact him at the end of the week for an update. Last week I didn't even get the "I will get back to you next week email". I do not understand how this is ethical for a lawyer. I am so discouraged as I trusted in the positive reviews.
