The best lawyer hands down! I was searching for a lawyer for 9 months plus, and I feel like first impression, as well as your gut feeling is a big deciding factor when choosing a partner to assist you when the time is needed, I've been working with George and his staff for over a year now, even though my case is a year or more and hopefully being done, I would not have wanted anybody else in my corner! George and his staff have become friends, allies as well as inspirational, win or lose I wouldn't want anybody else on this case! Do not think twice about George and his staff! In an industry where most of his counterparts are stoic and unresponsive, Mr. MacKoul is a breath of fresh air. He is responsive, understanding, and compassionate. I found Atty Pierce on Avvo and he assisted me with an eviction in Massachusetts on my rental property, I live 3 hrs away in another state. He was always quick to respond to my many questions either by phone or email. He genuinely cared about my situation and treated me like a real person not just another client. He has compassion and understanding which was so very important to me as this was my first go around as a landlord and he calmed all my fears and anxiety about the eviction process. Our security deposit was withheld allegedly because our occupancy necessitated "excessive cleaning." LL supplied photos of alleged "excessive cleaning" necessary to ready the cottage for the next occupants. They included a chair cover "askew," pillows "out of order," a chair slightly away from the wall. The photos made our case. Initially, we wanted to bring the case in Civil Court, demanding damages, etc. Mike convinced us to pursue the matter in Small Claims Court (a significantly smaller fee for him), get our security deposit refunded, and move on. I hired Michael because I had an issue with renters ( they trashed my house). He called me back promptly, and even went to visit the property to see the damage himself. He handled everything professionally and delivered exactly what he promised. I was full reimbursed for the cost of the damages.
