Alison represented my teenage son in a custody case between his dad and I and she was exactly what he needed. She was adamant about working for him and him only and not for either parent. She stuck up for what he wanted in court and was successful. I was initially nervous (before meeting her) that he would have a hard time expressing himself but she was very thorough and after this experience I know I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

Attorney Wehrli is excellent. I highly recommend her.

I spoke with two of the Attorney at this office. After multiple emails back and forth. To be honest I thought their tones were very condensing and extremely rude. I spoke about my situation even with concerns about the other parent she told me she could not meet my desires and further said she would be too expensive for me, even though she never asked about my financial situation or income. I have come to realize some firms do not nor will not represent people of a certain race, ethnicity or culture despite the support we need to protect our children and families. Unfortunately I believe this was the case at this firm based on their very rude demeanor, no follow up or support with my concerns and making assumptions about my financial state. I would not recommend at all.

I highly recommend Alison. She guided me through the process to make it as easy as possible. Her professionalism, expertise, and clear communication left me with no doubt of what needed to be done and the best course of action. She was available whenever I had questions and explained the process to me along the way. She was transparent about her fees and worked efficiently to keep things cost-effective (straight to the point and no drama). I was confident in her work throughout the whole process which eased my burden tremendously!

I opposed Atty Silber in a very protracted divorce that was 11 months long. Each hearing we settled and made an agreement before seeing the judge. She is solutions oriented and wisely tries to avoid trial. She got beyond my abrasive communication style in order to do what is best. Three years later, the other parent is continuing to sue me for custody and this time I'm facing a hell raiser, and I'd never thought I would miss dealing with Alison Silber. I don't know if she's improved since, but her weak spot is that she forwards unsubstantiated opinions into pre-trial memos and writes long and meandering motions, embellishes and exaggerates quite a bit, but to her credit I would say that this is what she was hired for in that case.

Allison was very rude over the phone and very short with us. Wouldn’t answer any questions until we committed to paying her for a consult. She was very unprofessional. And very rude we did not continue to inquire about her.
