My family is amid a particularly contentious battle over the family trust. We engaged with Maureen E. Lane to represent my 93-year-old mother to ensure her best interests were first and foremost. Lane has made it clear that she represents our mother’s interests and not that of the beneficiaries. Lane is patient and sensitive when talking with our mother, helping her understand the process and asking her what she wants to happen. Lane listens carefully, meets with our mother in person (under COVID guidelines), and calms her fears. Lane’s decades of working in elder law have been enormously helpful.
