They only want your money ...Think about this? A massive Law Firm devoted to helping men because too many men are being destroyed by family courts.. But in the end you have no choice ..but to find a lawyer.. not one of them is good!

I worked with Jacqueline to review my current support agreement with intent to file and the assumption that it would go down based on a number of major life events. Jacqueline didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, she told me what I needed to hear. What I needed to hear was that the law was not on my side, that things could very easily be worse, and what I wanted to do was not a good move. She also gave me future courses of action should I end up on the defense. I highly recommend Jacqueline and the Cordell & Cordell team. I saved a lot of time and money by working with people that cared enough to tell me the truth. Should the need arise again, Plaintiff or Defendant, I know where I'm going for counsel.

My attorney that represented me was attorney Dena Rando. I can't say enough about the great work she did for me. My ex spouse gave her a fantastic run around and false information the she and her team dealt with incredibly. She was a pleasure to talk with and has been there to aid me in any advise needed. I had met with two other attorneys at the practice but they both passed my case on after meeting. Attorney Rando gave me her complete attention and I'm very thankful I had her In my corner. Cordell and Cordell are truly a different and better experience than other family law firms and practice groups. They understand the unique challenges facing men in the family court system and work zealously to ensure we are represented fairly and accurately. They are also very well-organized and do a great job of checking in to make sure clients are satisfied and understand the status of their case. I work with Dena Rando and could not be happier with her work on my custody dispute. There is nothing more important to me than my children, and I feel like I have a fierce advocate who truly understands my perspective and the best interests of myself and my children, and works tirelessly to represent them. She is extremely responsive, has great attention to detail, is very thorough, and just generally "gets it" when it comes to my case. I really couldn't recommend her more highly.

Sad that they say they care about men, then take advantage of them there billing practices are horrible. 10 min billing for a one sentence email. And they love to have email conversations.i think they train their lawyers to do everything by email and phone calls when they know you are at work and yes they do still charge you for the phone call it was the second most costly decision of my life to hire this firm. And I am sure I will regret this when I get the final bill. I could have saved 12000 dollars and just agreed to everything my wife wanted and been mad at myself, now I am mad at myself and out 12000 dollars. This firm is a joke that just knows how to bill men and string them along until it's to late. If I worked for them I would seriously consider a new job, no probably not I would be a heartless lawyers at that point and would not care about the people I took advantage of. Well I hope who ever reads this will stay away from cordell and cordell and save their money for something important.

Attorney Dena Rando representing myself was very thorough in explaining to myself and wife, Marilyn what was planned and how she would perform her duties. Attorney Rando was very professional, courteous in our procedures. Great law firm, target WAS accomplished!

This is one of the most disreputable law firms I have ever come across. I reached out as they said they helped fathers litigate their cases. When I spoke to the attorney Andrew Ordyna-Pimentel, I explained my situation and what had just transpired in my case. I asked about filing an appeal and he asked for a retainer which I paid and we agreed he would not exceed the retainer. Well he ate that up very quickly by just listening to a recording of my case and doing nothing else. Then he sent me a bill for $10,000+ . In December he offered to knock it down to $6,000 even after I had paid close to 5,000 already and asked why he went over the retainer and continued to bill me when I sent notice to stop working on my case. Now they just hit my credit report for $11,000* an amount they NEVER even billed me for , so I plan on filing against them with the board of bar overseers. They are a dishonest firm, who try to bill you for doing nothing . I would never recommend them to anyone. Totally corrupt! Sad that they take advantage of people who are already in bad situations. The lowest of the low! I would give negative stars if I could !

$25,000 for nothing but to lose everything including my kids so they could make a few dollars.

I don't even know where to start, but retaining this firm was the worst experience of my life. Even worst than the divorce itself. They lied from the beginning. I had several questions written down for the initial consultation, and one of them was regarding Health insurance, which my soon to be ex is my dependent. One of the attorneys at the initial consultation (Taylor Mackintosh) told me that as soon as my wife signed the divorce, she would be on her own as far as health insurance. Weeks later they reassigned my case to another attorney, and he said that he could not block my wife from continuing to be on my insurance after the divorce, and that this was the law. This was the first of several red flags throughout my case. Another red flag was that even though I looked for an attorney one week before my wife looked for one, she ended up filing first. My attorney (Andrew Ordyna-Pimentel) told me that it was okay. That we would file as well. I thought that it was strange, but went along, since I did not have any experience with this. My current attorney said that he has never seen two "dockets" for the same case, and that this was done definitely to inflate the cost!!! Andrew knew that there was a docket open already in court!! I had a gut feeling that I should dump this firm, but I did not. After more than seven months and over U$25,000 in charges with close to nothing to show for, I scheduled a conference call and fired my attorney. We are a lower middle class family with only one asset, and NO fight for custody. These people claim to be able to level the field in favor of dads. This is not true at all. The law is the law (usually favors moms) and there is nothing they can do to change that. This firm did some things without my consent, as far as useless subpoenas to my wife's work inquiring about insurance, bonus, stocks, which I said that was not necessary, and to the current owner of a business that she owned in the past, which I said that was not necessary either. This was done to inflate the cost. I have emails to prove this, and will probably file a malpractice complaint against this firm once the divorce is final. I retained another attorney, and he said that of the thousands of pages he received from Cordell & Cordell, he was able to use around 60. Everything else was garbage. He also said that my divorce should not cost more than $5,000 if an agreement was reached or $10,000 if it went to trial. So please, do your homework! Do not settle for the first firm you see with a fancy commercial. Shop around three or four different offices and inquire about cost. Cordell & Cordell would not commit even to a range. That gave them a free pass to almost ruin me financially. I hope this post helps other dads to not become victims like me. UPDATE!!! After taking U$25,000 from me in 7 months with no results, these vultures are saying that I still owe them U$1,300 and placed the account on collection which affected my credit score!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM!!!
