David and his team did an amazing job with my house closing. He was totally on top of everything. He even called me a few days before to let me know everything was all set and running ahead of schedule. And best of all, he is reasonably priced.

Do not use this Firm.
I have a brain injury, and I feel I was taken advantage of.
They had me sign over the deed to my house prior to the closing, then they sold my house without me present. It took me 3 months to get my money, and they told me I needed to get a lawyer to get it. They claimed they couldn't determine how much of the proceeds were to be given to me.
I had no choice but to do that, hire a lawyer. .
It cost me $1200 for lawyer fees to get MY MONEY from this firm and over $2000 in lost interest for the time they had MY MONEY.
A competent on-the-up-and-up real estate lawyer would have all the Neccessary and proper info prior to the closing and have the seller at the closing to sign the deed and get their proceeds right then and there.
I only dealt with David Scimone from the firm.
This firm is either incompetent or dishonest depending on whether they did this to me on purpose or not.
Either way, DO NOT USE THEM.
UPDATE:
Expecting a divorced couple to come to an agreement on anything is stupid.
That's why there is a divorce judgement and decree that specifies the distribution of monies..
AS THERE WAS IN THIS CASE.
IT WAS PLAINLY WRITTEN OUT.
ATTORNEY SCIMONE HAD A COPY OF IT FROM THE BEGINNING, BEFORE I signed over the deed because he coerced me, a disabled person with a brain injury, into doing so.
Either attorney Scimone is too incompetent to know that it HAS to be followed , and if it wasn't, one side could sue the other AND Scimone OR he took advantage of me with my condition to get money from me.
EITHER WAY, DO NOT USE HIM.
In the end, my attorney, which I never should have had to get, forced a settlement of values equating to what the divorce judgement said.
By hiring Scimone, it cost me more money than it had to just to get MY MONEY he was holding hostage for NO VALID REASON.
he had the decree on how to distribute the proceeds and refused to do it, making money for himself in the process.
I feel he took advantage of me, an unknowing, not being able to always comprehend, disabled person with a brain injury.
He kept saying I had to trust him - which I've learned a sure sign you shouldn't trust completely the person saying that.
I FIRMLY BELIEVE HE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF ME.
Always get in writing how the money is to be distributed from the sale of your house before the closing, and sign the deed over at the closing, and get a check right there at the closing for your money.
I did in fact ask BEFORE I signed the deed how much I was to get but never found out - he avoided the question and with my brain injury issues of not always remembering and not always comprehending things, it was never supplied to me.
I wasn't capable of thinking to push that.
But a trustworthy competent attorney on the up-and-up would have got that information to me PRIOR to the closing. I was his client and made that request but he never did anything but dodge it.
DO NOT USE THIS FIRM.
