Tom is a straight to the point, no BS lawyer at a reasonable cost. After I got out on bail, I was scrambling to find an attorney for my arraignment just 36 hours away. I called or emailed every lawyer on the first two pages of google, and only three picked up the phone. One was already scheduled forthat day and couldn't take my case. One wanted 10k and made a bunch of lofty promises about how I'm "definitely going to beat this thing" before I had even told him the details of my case, the guy sounded like a used car salesman. When Tom picked up, I told him the details of my case, he agreed to take my case, and didn't make any promises he couldn't keep. He answered my emails quickly, usually within a few hours, and would always get back to me quickly if I left him a message. He kept me calm and we walked through the steps of defending my case, and in the end, the charge was dropped. I hope I never have to hire a criminal defense attorney again, but I know who I'll call if I do. Thank you Tom :)

Recently I was fortunate to obtainThomas Kokonowski to defend me against a variety of non-violent firearm charges. To say the least I just went threw two separate cases with Mr.Kokonowski first one was a assault &battery with a dangerous weapon charge that had a witness involved,I was looking at a possible 12yrs.Mr.Kokonowski was on point having us hire a PI to shoot pictures of the scene and call the witness to find out that the witness really couldn’t see but could hear the fight and assumed there must have been an assault .Case was dismissed at pretrial .Second was even worse 2 counts of assault &battery,dangerous weapon ,4 counts of improper storage of firearms within a 1000ft of child also would have been immense jail time.Again pretrial made a incredible deal with the District Attorney for a 1yr continuance without a finding .When he went to bat for me with the judge he gave a heartfelt story of my circumstance's and of the good behavior that I kept during the period and got the final sentence to 6months CWF with probation.I mean to get these results without going to trial you would have to have a pretty big ego not to choose Mr.Kokonowski as your attorney ,In my eyes he’s a Miracle worker and a great asset to the Cape Cod community. Tom is simply the best. We are from NY and was visiting Springfield, MA and had a situation at an establishment over labor day weekend 2023. Called him on Monday of labor day and he called right back. Tom was very understanding and sympathetic as we explained what happened. He was always available and kept us in the loop of every step.
