Attorney Peter Szyjka had represented my family for an auto accident case in 2013. As a result there was serious injury which required a family member to undergo surgery. Attorney Szyjka was very thorough with information of legality that helped with necessary knowledge needed to settle said case. My wife and I were facing a 30-day eviction from the apartment we called home for more than 9 years, We were tenants at will and the landlord wanted the apartment back. I was referred to Peter through a relative after consulting with Peter we hired him. Peter did a great job getting us a stay of premise, due to violations landlord had. It provided us extra time to look and find apartment. We're both impressed by the way Peter fought and pushed back against the landlords attorney. I thank him and would recommend him to anyone.

Beyond professional and knowledgeable, Peter always goes above and beyond to for their clients. I was extremely skeptical and scared to even start the process. Eviction with wacky tenant, Closing on a real estate sale and handling potentially fatal snags, Getting a strong settlement for a long and complicated out-of-state personal injury, even Setting up a trust so it's not chaos for my family if I perish. Peter has helped us with two situations. The first time we turned to him when my wife applied for a green card. Peter demystified the US Immigration process. We were very satisfied. Recently Peter helped us purchase our own home. Peter walked us through the short sale process, helped rewrite the contract in a way that allowed us to be able to purchase the home and noticed a mistake in the way the bank had written the contract which could have derailed or delayed the purchase. He moved quickly, worked with the others involved and got the problem fixed.
