Andrew Oatway represented Purple Tunnel Enterprises and lost a landmark case involving double jeopardy. I was dumfounded at how his firm messed up something a first-year law student learns.

I hired Mr. Oatway to defend me against my Condo association as that is one of the specialties of his firm. The association was seeking legal fees in my case and I asked him in our first meeting if they would likely succeed with that claim. He said that each side would pay their own way. I relied on that information to pursue a legal strategy that was doomed to failure from the start. Little did I know there is a specific statute that all condo attorney's know about that allows the association to recoup any legal fees and post them to the unit without even a court order (MA 193A). Please avoid Mr. Oatway at all costs.
