Very positive experience, every person I dealt with was kind and professional. I would recommend Farias Family Law to my friends and family.

Before I hired Attorney Sousa from Farias Family Law, I was in a position where it could have gone either way. My ex and children’s father, had lied in our first court hearing and ended up getting every other weekend visitations. This was absurd to me because he has and I believe still still has an addiction issue. Now, after the second court hearing and having Attorney Sousa at my side the entire way, along with Jessica, the paralegal in the office, I was granted everything I was asking for and have full custody of my kids as well. I will be referring anyone I can to them! Throughout the entire process everyone was extremely responsive, kind and whenever I didn’t understand something they thoroughly explained it. Thank you to Attorney Sousa, Paralegal Jessica, Karen and all that contributed to my families success at the Farias Family Law Offices!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Farias Family Law. They were all very professional and accommodating. Answered any questions I had, explained things well and were super helpful. Everything was done in a very timely fashion which was great since that is exactly what I needed their help with in my divorce. Everything is all squared away now and I couldn’t be happier, wish I found them sooner.

BEWARE! I wonder how this firm has a 5-star rating?! This firm was retained by my husband and I. First, they charge for a consulte. That should have been my first red flag. Then, they will spring on you what’s called an LAR after you pay them thousands of dollars to handle your case. They charged us $3,100 and went to exactly ONE hearing and wrote ONE opposition to a motion filed by my husband’s ex. It was short notice and they said all the right things. We didn’t know about the LAR until the morning of the hearing where I received a message saying we HAD to sign the LAR or we wouldn’t have representation THE MORNING OF THE HEARING. Then, after we were told we would be contacted about the next steps. We weren’t. We found out from opposing party that OUR attorney had withdrawn. This firm took our money, said they would let us know what they need and the next steps only to just withdraw. This was after finding out another motion was filed by opposing counsel and now we are left trying to find a NEW attorney because this firm never told us anything. We paid a consulate fee AND $3,100 to be left high and dry. Attorney Frias advised via email that he was “sorry” they never told us bout the withdrawal, that I had been sending messages and emails to our attorney AND the assistant and not once did we get a response about anything other than the assistant saying she would forward to everything to the attorney. When I advised I would file and objection to their withdrawal seeing as we now may have MISSED a court deadline to file a response to the new motion that was filed (the first hearing was the beginning of June and the second motion was filed only a week or two later in the same month. They responded to me advising we would be filing an objection was to cut me out of the contact and to go to my husband. They didn’t want me on the phone call because they knew they are wrong! That they had to notify us of their withdrawal. They’re bound by their oath as an attorney and they failed us. They do not care about their clients. You are money, not a person! If I could give a negative amount of stars I would! BEWARE! They know that people are in desperate situations with family court abs they take full advantage of that. I’m going to file a complaint with the MA Bar Assoc. I’ve never dealt with such money hungry people in my life. Sorry for any misspellings. This is being written on my phone and it’s hard to see the bottom of the comments. I think everyone will get the overall picture of how awful we were treated. They will not and do not care about their code of ethics and so on. I will say that attorney Karabin was very nice and I appreciated his work. Unfortunately, he works for this firm and has to play by their rules, I’m sure. Please look into these firms before retaining. There are so many issues with bigger firms and as someone that was employed by attorneys. I can tell you, this is not how they all operate.

Attorney Bill Farias and his team were amazing from start to finish. They were very responsive kind and understanding throughout my entire divorce process. I was kept well informed every step of the way. Attorney Farias listened to my needs and executed a plan on how to proceed forward that would result in the best possible outcome. I am so happy that I chose Farias Family law to represent me. I would highly recommend Attorney Farias and his team to anyone.

They were so helpful to me and my brother. I live in PA and my brother lives in MA. We had some paperwork done by Erin at Surprenant & Beneski and it needed to get signed by my brother. He have problems signing the paperwork over zoom. After a failed attempt to get the paperwork sign over zoom, they send someone over to his place so it could be singed. They want over and above to help him and me. Thank you for going that extra mile to make another satisfied customer. I'll be using them again.

I was really pleased to work with Farias’s team...I reached out to their office prior to COVID-19 through a google search and after digging around I made the right call! I was battling a situation that is super heavy on my family and even throughout the pandemic, they were more than helpful, guiding me throughout the whole court process and staying in touch all the way! A year has passed and I feel a lot more better about how everything is going and the results I obtained from court. They did their best for the best interest in not only me but for my children 100%! I recommend them! P.s I was brought to court by other parent seeking parent visitations, I am a father of three kids with full custody, hope this helps anyone searching for an attorney going through hard times and not sure if you’ll get your money worth etc. Goodluck! This is 'full circle' feedback because it was google reviews that led me to this law firm back in November 2019. Farias Family Law has been a wonderful support and legal team for me; from Jessica their Legal Assistant to Atty's Sousa & Farias. Let's just say I was in a traumatizing space when I first consulted with them. From the get-go they were very compassionate but also objective, communicative via text, email, zoom and phone call. I always felt welcome to ask questions, provide feedback on proposals & strategies - I was centered & I was heard. My case wrapped up last week and I'm feeling optimistic about co-parenting. Contacted Bill Farias in Dec 2020 to help resolve a D.O.R/C.S.E. issue that has spanned over 30 years. We signed an agreement with payment and he was ready to go. I ended up dragging it out for several months, due to circumstances. I reconnected with Bill in mid May and finished the agreement. He had it taken care of in a matter of a few days. All I can say is amazing and unbelievable. 30 + years of frustration resolved in days. If Bill tells you he can help you, don't hesitate, he is a man of his word. Also worth mentioning is the efficiency of the staff, top notch. Can't stop thanking them.

Massachusetts divorce law is very opaque and antiquated and the experience of your attorney is extremely important in determining the outcome of your case. Bill Farias offered sound legal advice and helped me understand my alternatives given the circumstances of both parties and the Judge on the case. Atty Farias' team was professional and provided prompt and efficient communication to keep cost in check and provide a favorable outcome of my case. After 2 unsuccessful court appearances with two different lawyers, my third experience, with Atty Farias and his team was "the charm".

They were responsive and professional and got the job done. In my opinion, it is expensive which is the only down side. Other than that, I would recommend Suprenant & Beneski, P.C.
