I am incredibly grateful to have had Marc represent me in a highly contentious custody case that resulted in a life-changing outcome. What began as a custody case quickly evolved into a complex, multi-day trial with my ex-wife filing for permanent removal from Massachusetts and multiple states being involved. This is the rudest, angriest most crass person I have EVER encountered in my entire life! I sent her an email asking her to take my case and help me. She called me in a very bad mood, or maybe she is just like that to begin with. She was pissed off because I simply made a mistake and told her my case was out of Middlesex county when it was actually Essex. She was edgy and talked down to me and seemed very annoyed and then proceeded to hang up on me. Please do not use this absolute horrible person.

I contacted her Office several times and NEVER received an Email of Call back. She should of at least said, She didn't want to take the case as, I wasted my time explaining my case in her Information Box. Not if it was FREE would I trust her office..

I don't typically do reviews, but seeing I used this to contact Attorney Ruggieri based on the history of reviews. Please refer to the recent reviews) I contacted her to take on my case and in a very condescending tone, "my consult is $500.00. I respond ok. Gave her my personal information she requested and my credit card. She set the appointment for the consult for the following week, called the next day stating she had a cancellation and inquired if I was available now for the consult. 7mins into the call, she stated she couldn't help (In the NOW confrontational & condescending tone). Interesting..... 7mins for $500.00? I did some research and discovered something that it was somewhat a conflict of interest "with the clique". The call to reschedule wasn't a consult at all. I was suppose to "just go away." 45 days later my bank refunds the fee due to her not responding to the dispute. A refund was in order, but FYI she walks side ways like a crab because the "clique" spoke. Ways of the New England underworld. "Crabs in a barrel".

The lack of professionalism is truly disheartening. My sister just started her search for representation and being that family law is already tough to handle as it is, Lisa made the experience even more of a pain. From her condescending tone the whole interaction to her assuming that we could not afford her, she showed us exactly the type of person she is. Lisa did not allow us a moment to explain our case before she started making more assumptions. If you want an attorney that will give you an ounce of respect, I urge you to look elsewhere.

Lisa Ruggieri is an incredibly dedicated attorney who helped me through one of the most trying and difficult times of my life. She supported me in and out of court and was quick to respond to all inquiries and helped to get the best settlement. Her knowledge of the legal system and professionalism is excellent. She even took time out from her busy schedule to be by my side during a domestic violence case against my ex. She went above and beyond to help in every way possible. Even after my divorce was finalized, she has continued to provide support and assistance whenever I have needed it. If I could, I would give her 10 stars! She is the best!
