My name is Thomas I'm a Veteran that grew up in greater Lowell area. When you need a great attorney going to Boston isn't always the best route Ryder and Phelps are your local elite team located in Westford Mass. After many attempts at salvaging a toxic relationship it was time to move forward and I needed help. I retained the law firm of Ryder and Phelps. It was unfortunate this happened but divorce is emotional draining. Attorney Jordan Phelps was the best man for the job. He always demonstrated patience , diplomacy and objectivity. Jordan is a top flight attorney skilled in many areas of the law. He was able to have a restraining order Expunged ( eradicated ) after it was issued under false pretense. This protected my livelihood and future. My divorce was settled more than favorable for me. I got the results I hoped for protection I needed. In my experience he's fair across the board, competent, and great at setting expectations; good, bad, indifferent. Things have not always gone as expected, such is the case when you stand in front of a Judge, but I've never felt it to be a result of bad counsel. Even with the benefit of hindsight, I've never second-guessed his counsel. I find him to be level-headed, methodical, and measured. It's more often the case I feel like I'm dealing with a friend who happens to be an attorney rather than an attorney. He's taken an interest in my case and my family that I've not seen in other attorney's and he's gone above and beyond what I'd expect.

Jordan was a valued resource during an extremely difficult time in my life. For over a year while he worked on my divorce, Jordan was nothing but professional, responsive and patient. He always made himself available to answer my questions, even if it was a question I had already asked but was too overwhelmed to understand.
