We were truly blessed to have Phil in our corner. He’s brilliant, patient, experienced with unparalleled knowledge of the law and legal system, works 24/7, and always tells it like it is. A malicious neighbor made false allegations to obtain a one-year 258E Harassment Prevention Order against our then 16-year-old son in the Hampden County Juvenile Court (Springfield). After several attorneys told us that there was nothing we could do and our son would just have to live with this devastating permanent record, we fortunately found Phil and sent him police reports, photos, text messages, town official letters, and prior hearing transcripts. Phil received this huge package on a Friday and by Sunday he had already strategized a winning game plan to successfully overcome the seemingly insurmountable obstacles and odds that we faced. Phil also asked each of us to provide a detailed chronological summary of events and rebuttals to the false allegations in order to devise a remarkable strategy. He has excellent communication skills and an impressive rapport with all of the court personnel and even the opposing attorney. My son’s record was expunged in all of the local, state and federal databases and the court’s paper file was completely destroyed. Phil even coordinated with the local police chief to expunge all police records and entries of the 258E order. Currently an 18-year-old college student, my son now enjoys a completely normal life without the concern of lost job prospects and crushed dreams, all thanks to our attorney’s due diligence and hard work. We really just want to thank Phil for his priceless work and know that we could have never paid him enough for what he did. We shall always be thankful.

Mr. Arnel is an excellent attorney. Mr. Arnel is very knowledgeable about background checks and updating records. Not many attorneys have his level of expertise in this field. To my knowledge, there are few attorneys in the country that specialize in updating records. Mr. Arnel is attentive, responsive, and professional. Months after Mr. Arnel completed his work, I realized that the state had made a mistake at the end of the process of updating my record. Had I followed Mr. Arnel's detailed instructions for checking to ensure the process was complete, this would not have happened. Regardless, Mr. Arnel reacted incredibly fast to work with the state agency to rectify the situation. I can't say enough positive things about my experiences with the law office of Philip Arnel.

Emmanuel has removed my comments twice now. Do not be fooled by the high rating. The MANY 1 star reviews that people leave he gets taken down 6-8 months later. The only reason I’m seeing he’s deleted our reviews is because my wife and I are applying to our citizenship and we are still dealing with the issues that he caused even a year later. My wife and I applied for a simple green card application (or so we thought). Because of his insistence that we lie to immigration on how we met (my wife and I met online, he insisted we lie and say we met in South Carolina) coupled with his 6 month delay in filing for our green card, (He waited 6 months to send our application, waiting for a document we found out at the interview we didn’t need to give immigration until the day of the interview.) We are now suffering the consequences. Do not follow his advice. We’ve seen 3-4 other great immigration attorneys since Emmanuel and they have luckily fixed most of the damage he caused, but it has cost us thousands of dollars in attorney fees. I know he is cheap and that is the reason why most people will end up deciding to use him, but be warned... do not go against your own common sense and follow his advice blindly! It will cost you MUCH more money in the long run. There are plenty of good immigration attorneys in this area to go to. He cost my wife 6 months of work, he scared her out of her mind, and if it wasn’t for a follow up call from one of the other attorneys, this would probably be a 5 star review, praising him for fixing our many “issues” after we paid him the extra money he asked for to fix the issues that he created himself. I don’t know how he is allowed to delete so many 1 star reviews, I’m not sure how long this review will last, but at the time I wrote the review he was rated 3.1 stars. Do NOT be fooled. Emmanuel is a money pit that will lure you in with cheap prices and then charge you an arm and a leg fixing issues that he creates himself. I wish I could post pictures here so people could see all the emails he sent us coaxing us into making horrible decisions that ended up costing us thousands. He is a good salesman I’ll give him that, he seems like he knows what he’s talking about. But please do not make the same mistake we and so many others did and put your trust in him. Thank God we were able to find other attorneys to fix the mess he caused! The funny part is we had such a great interview, we felt comfortable enough to ask the interviewer what would’ve happened if we had followed Emmanuel's advice. She laughed and said something to the effect of... “if you had followed through with his advice and we found out about it, you’d have to learn Portuguese pretty fast because your wife would be sent straight out of the country for lying and submitting fraudulent documents” Bullet dodged! But I know based on the other comments he had deleted that it wasn’t the case for everyone. We don’t want anyone to have to go through anything like this again, just because he’s cheap does NOT mean he is the right choice! Don’t make the same mistake we did! Look out for yourselves and please don’t follow Emmanuel's advice blindly! And when issues undoubtedly do pop up, seek outside help! Don’t let him charge you thousands of dollars more for issues that he creates! Thanks for taking the time to read this, I’m not sure how long this will be up before he deletes it again, but I’ll try to check in every few months to make sure the warning is still out on him. It’s a bullies tactic to try to silence all the people who speak out against him. Pretty ballsy of him considering we still have all the emails and the phone recordings. Please take care of of yourselves! You shouldn’t use him, according to other attorneys we talked to, he shouldn’t even have a license to practice law but if you do use him because of his low prices.. don’t let him push you around and take advantage of you! You get what you pay for!!
